Me and my partner visited here after an overnight stay in hospital before travelling home. The visit started well with a hospitable and friendly waiter greeting us and taking our orders. Coffee was delivered promptly and was a very nice coffee. The issues arose once we ordered our food.We ordered sandwiches, brie and onion for myself and my partner ordered a salt beef sandwich. My sandwich was tasty however my partners sandwich had been lathered in an extremely strong mustard which overpowered the taste of the other ingredients and I had one bite and it was painful to eat! We called the waiter over and apologised and asked if they could just make a half of the brie and onion as we had already eaten 1 half of the sandwiches which the waiter said he would see what he could do.When they returned a sandwich it was a full sandwich which we didn't ask for however the only ingredient inside was brie (no onion). This didn't taste great, but compared to the prior meal she decided we would eat it and make our way home. When the bill arrived we were surprised to see that we had been charged for 1x salt beef sandwich and 2x brie and onion. I queried this with the waitress who argued with us that we had eaten half and so we should pay for what we had eaten. We were not being facetious, but we were being treated like we were committing daylight robbery. We both come from a history of hospitality and I couldn't imagine ever charging a customer for a meal they had complained about. The waitress removed the meal after protest however this left a bitter taste in our mouths and ruined the visit entirely. A shame as we had seen this restaurant on a previous visit and looked forward to visitingWould not recommend visiting.

Vegetarian options: Demitasse is the best coffee shop in Wimbledon hands down - great coffee, nice staff and a lovely venue. I have been going there since they opened in 2021; previously they had limited vegan options, but I am pleased to say that upon request they have now introduced a number of vegan pastries which are are all delicious. Thank you!

My favourite spot for brunch in Wimbledon Village. Attentive staff and the food is delicious. Coffee is also good. It gets quite busy, but they are always honest about waiting time and try to accommodate us.

Always great coffee and friendly staff. Perhaps a little expensive but largely consistent with location and other places nearby.

Such a beautiful place to have a family breakfast in, the atmosphere is amazing, staff’s are friendly, helpful and attentive and food was really good. We had French toast with banana which was delicious, pancakes with Nutella and berries and pancakes with syrup and berries both were tasty.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small ramp for wheelchair, door and entrance is wide.
