Celebrating last day of chemo became worse than the cancer itself. We were given an opened bottled sparkling water. We asked for still water, and the waiter had the nerve to tell us they didn't have any bottled still water and wouldn't serve tap water. We were left thinking, "So, are we supposed to go without water?". Finally another staff came and gave us bottle still water from somewhere.Adding insult to injury, after messing up our water order, the staff's attitude turned sour. They started nitpicking about the cap on the sparkling water they had just opened for us. Ridiculous. We're a big group, and all we wanted to do was start with some appetizers before ordering our mains. Simple, right? But then, out of nowhere, one of the staff members refused to take our order and basically told us to scram. And to top it all off, when we wanted to snap a quick pic to show how rude they were being, one of them actually tried to physically attack one of our friends. Unbelievable.

Worst ever experience with Dhaba Street food of India, SW11 4LYLast night we 4 friends with parents went to this restaurant with a lot of crave to have delicious Indian food what we do miss here in UK.we took seat and discussing our list of menus to order. Meanwhile we felt thirsty and asked for some drinking water. One served us sparkling water that we did not ask for. so requested for normal still water he said they dont have anything else except sparkling. My husband even told even if you don't have still water please give us the water you have normal tap water. Then one of them came and gave us a bottle of still water that they already had but did not give us before and all of the sudden they started behaving so rude. Now we decided we will first order starters then if we can have more then order main course as our starters list was quiet long. Now they started showing attitude and told they won't take only starter orders we have to end up with main course orders also and that's person's behavior was arrogant I said in that case dont take any orders and we will leave and he replied then get lost, omg how dare he!We can never imagine a person can behave this way. I never heard of any restaurant that don't serve only starters and and force customers to order more else they won't serve and if so, they should mention this rules outside the restaurant.we came outside and thought of giving Google review. The moment I hold my phone to take one photo one the restaurant from outside, all of a sudden one male crew jumped on me and physically abused me not to take any picture.I got scared and started badly shaking in fear. Our parents got in panic. My husband and friends started protesting him by words again he attacked on them and pushed them badly (photos attached). Then we thought enough is enough it's time to report police. In any circumstances, no one can physically abuse you even it's a women. They don't know basic how to behave with no courtesy and manners. We reported to police and this is under investigation. they will check footage all the CCTV around.Worst ever exp we gathered last night.

I had a nightmare of an experience yesterday. My husband has just finished a very aggressive chemotherapy and we along with my close friends and family decided to celebrate this . We went to the restaurant since we wanted to enjoy Indian food and saw the restaurant to be highly rated. We were a group of 6 adults. When we entered the restaurant, it was silent and there wasnt any other customer. We started checking the menu and I requested for some drinking water. The staff served sparkling water. We requested for plain still water and he said that they dont have it. We were surprised and my friend said that we can drink the water they themselves generally have. The owner walked in and rudely said that they dont serve tap water. We still couldnt understand the issue since we were really thirsty and just wanted some still water to drink. We again asked for it and finally they served a bottled still water. However, even before we could drink it, the owner came around and inquired about the cap of the bottled sparkling water they have previously served. We said that his staff had actually just served us with an open bottle. He walked away rudely .We had already decided on the starters till then and went on to order. In the interim , our entire group was deciding on the main course as well. My husband does have some dietary restrictions still and hence we were trying to see what could be best for him and can be equally enjoyable for all of us. The owner decided to take the order and when we placed order for the starters, he asked for the main course order to be placed simultaneously. We requested him to take the order for the starters first while we decide the main course. The owner in an extremely rude manner stated that he wont take any order unless we place order for main course as well. At that point in time, we all decided to leave the restaurant considering the rude behaviour of the staffs. But we started discussing among ourselves that we should also write the review on google on how the restaurant treat its customer. The owner barged out and stated 'GET LOST'. Yes, that's what he said. We were shocked and walked out .We came outside and decided to take the photo of the restaurant and that's when the worst part happened. One of the staff, a bald man , jumped and attacked my female friend who was trying to take the photo of the restaurant name. All the rest of our group , including my husband , had to jump in to rescue her. The staff physically assaulted another friend of mine as well and held his hand tightly. The female friend of mine by that time has started to shake in fear . My husband was highly stressed and recovering form cancer, it is highly deterrent for him. We reported the incident to police .The restaurant owner and staffs are not only rude by equally capable of physically injuring any customer who decides to give a review according to their true experience. Highly advice everyone to give this restaurant a pass.

Zero stars for everything, the rudest people on earth. Be careful with this people. Offcourse they won’t be behaving like this always. But what everyone should know is they are capable of doing this.1. When we asked for water, they served sparkling water.2. When we asked for plain water, they said they don’t serve tap water.3. Then they said they don’t have bottled drinking water.4. Atlast, when we said whatever water you drink, you can give that to us, then they gave us bottled plain water.5. After that, we ordered starters and told them we were deciding on the main course.6. But in a very bad tone, the restaurant manager and owner said we needed the main course order together.7. We again said please bring the starters; we will order main course in sometime.8. Then they said they couldn’t serve starters unless we ordered the main course. We then said to cancel everything, and we are leaving. Then we said we would obviously post reviews about this behavior on social media, and then they said get out of my restaurant. We came out and tried to get a picture, and exactly at that time, one of the workers in the restaurant jumped up on my wife and attacked my wife. He even pushed her and started shouting at her. We came to her rescue, immediately , and called the police to report the assault.

Best Indian I’ve had since moving to the area. Unique and varied dishes with enough of the classics to please everyone. BYOB which makes it much more affordable and great service.Writing this review out of guilt because I noticed service charge wasn’t added to my bill!I had a caramelised onion lamb curry with paratha, was unreal!

I know my Indian food and these guys know what they are doing. Easily the best tasting Indian food I've had in London in recent years. Highly recommended.

Just had a few dishes here before Christmas Day. Really nice food. The Korma was excellent, and the Peshwari nam was really nice also. I would love to try some more options if I ever get to return. Thanks again.

Note Food Hygiene Rating: 3Terrible food. Avoid! Whatever this is, it’s not Indian food.Every dish was extra sweetened. Even the accompanying yoghurt and hari chutney were a sugar syrup.Best remark someone at the table made - at least now we don’t need dessert!Ordered via Uber eats- butter chicken, Mumbai roadside chicken biryani, alleppey fish curry, paneer masaledar.

I wanted to visit this but I’ve been stopped in my tracks after reading how obnoxiously rude the replies from the owner are to other reviews.I did go here once before myself and was turned away as they only took cash. But I guess my plan to revisit is also in doubt now.Now they replied to me lying , but when i went here a rude indian bald dude told me cash only and turned me away. Must be avoiding tax or something these misers.

Appreciate the quick service as we were hungry! ? Loved Dhaba's food, we felt the food was wholesome and just what we wanted, we had the Dhaal, Railway Lamb and Butter Chicken Curry, all on point. For 2 of us the portions were great, definitely will be ordering again, thank you.

Whilst this was a delivery, I think the quality has really gone down hill. Puri which used to be small, brkwn were large yellow and excessive oil! Dhal makhni wasnt creamy and felt tastless and watered down. V disappointing.

Had the most delicious curries and all the accompaniments, rice, naan, roti and poppadoms. BYOB was a bonus, well priced, friendly service and chilled atmosphere. Will be back ?

One of the nicest curries I’ve ever eaten and the service was incredible. Would recommend to everyone:)
