“Again, mixed feelings about the breakfast club. Didn't realize it was a chain until I went on Yelp. Upon entering, my boyfriend and I were greeted and seated immediately. But afterwards, things went down hill. I saw online that behind the Smeg fridge was probably a speakeasy, but when I asked they immediately turned me away with an explanation. Service was prompt but no one checked on our table, or even asked if we had any food allergies. But others around us were serviced and asked these questions. We ended up finishing our food and had to ask for the check as well. I ordered the greasy spoon. I wasn't crazy about the sausage but everything else tasted good and my boyfriend ordered huevos rancheros. It's a very casual type of restaurant. Nice stop for breakfast overall.”

“I've come here twice now- in March 2023 and in May 2024, and it has been delicious both times. I got the vegetarian full english breakfast, which is so good and hearty, especially if you've got a full day of walking and sightseeing ahead of you. My favorite parts were the bubble and squeak- something I'd never even heard of before- and the buttery whole-grain toast with beans. The indulgent buttery taste of the toast goes so well with the slight acidity of the beans, which are much less sweet than the ones we have in the states. I also appreciate that they have a regular, veggie, and vegan option for this classic dish- my family has one of each. The overall vibe is cozy and eclectic, but definitely close quarters, and the service was very polite. The only negative I've heard was that my friend's Oreo pancakes weren't very good- but I did not try them to confirm ‍”
