Had a lovely evening at my daughter's engagement party here. The evening was completely ruined by the pink haired "security" person, who tried to shoo people out the minute last orders was called and did not understand the concept of personal space or how to ask someone to leave!! It's a shame that she was not given any training in customer services and how to speak to people without causing offence. Especially for the amount of money that was spent on the occasion!! Please send her on a training course.

Great pub. Not sure if it's the norm but staff didn't clear our table all evening so we had to sit at a table with glasses from previous customers on

Finally, A Sunday Roast that is actually a Roast! Had the trio of (roast) meats.Usually roasts can be old (and cold) but all the meats and veg were good, quality, portion and heat - esp roasties.Yorkshire's were a lovely size, some gravy on the plate but more needed. However, £27-28 for a roast is on the steeper side of life.A nice treat meal for sure. Place is HUGE! and can just be a casual pint if needed.Food & drinks: Sunday Roast dinner was delicious

Went for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed in any way. The Roast dinner was plentiful, and the meat was well cooked. As it was Mother's Day an extra present was provided, which was a Gin & tonic for when we got home. The service for us was brilliant and we enjoyed the mini Rose wine tasting education.

Located in Wimbledon Village, its a really nice and cosy ambience. The rooms are always clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and also the toiletries have a nice quality. The breakfast is delicious!Rooms: Rooms are spacious and clean. They have a boutique vibe to it and also offer higher end toiletries. Bathrooms are very niceSafety: It's located in Wimbledon village so safety is not a concern. Within the hotel, depending on where your room is, it's likely you'll also have to pass a couple of doors with your key before getting to your roomWalkability: It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Wimbledon Station (uphill for mostnof it) as its in the village but there are also buses if you'd prefer not to walk. Its easy to get to either way.Food & drinks: Food and drinks are delicious. It's pub classics with a little twist to make it a bit more upscale.

Another great stay at the Dog and Fox. We have stayed here several times now and our experience has always been good. The staff are brilliant, all of them. Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, a real asset. Food great as usual (dinner and breakfast) as I am Coeliac there is no problem with obtaining gluten free options and gluten free toast with breakfast. We stayed on the Cosy Nights special and it's very good value. We'll be back again, looking forward to it already.

We stayed 2 nights here. It was a great spot close the local shops on high street, walking distance to the tennis centre and regular bus service to overland and underground rail connections.

So disappointed. I booked a table for the France v Ireland Game a week before the event. I made a special trip into the Venue 6 days before my reservation to make a personal request for a specific table which is directly under the TV. The duty manager took me to the table to make sure he had the correct one, and entered my request into the book they kept at their Cash desk. On arrival, on time, on Friday 2nd February, the table I had booked and requested had been given to other guests. I spoke with the duty manager who proceeded to ignore my explanation and tell me that I had been booked on another table. There was no empathy, or apology, or even an offer of a drink to recover their mistake. I was made to feel that this issue was my fault. I rang the guests who were joining us and told them not to bother as the view from the allocated table was not very good. They subsequently went to the Rose and Crown opposite and called us to join them which we did. The service we received in the Rose and Crown was exemplary. I will be choosing that venue in future. So disappointed with the Dog & Fox. Its not how to treat customers.

My and my husband went for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Perfect pork crackling, huge Yorkshire puddings and loads of gravy. was quite busy but the staff were great and really helpful. Lots of comfy chairs to relax on after stuffing ourselves on roasts which was good as it took us a while to move after the huge portions. We will certainly be going back.
