One of my favourite neighbourhood restaurants. Always super friendly and lovely staff, fantastic food. I pass on the rosti though that they promote heavily. I lived in Switzerland for many years and hence Dorian's rostis are underwhelming for me (but I am a special case here..). It is certainly on the rather pricey site - but totally in line with other high quality places in the hood and worth it. Always have a great time - thank you, Dorian!

Excellent food with great company one of my most enjoyable eating experiences. Staff were very attentive.

The food was fantastic. The service was truly appalling; the worst I have had in a Michelin starred restaurant. The first couple of courses were delicious although arrived very slowly that after an hour and twenty minutes we asked if we politely asked if we could cancel our mains as we had an appointment we had to be at. We were told that we could not or specifically we were told “no, the kitchen is already cooking them”. This was an interesting reaction given the manager didn’t check with the kitchen. We then waited a further 40 minutes and our mains came out leaving us less than 5 minutes to eat them. Instead of apologising the rude waitress said that if we didn’t want to eat them there and then she would serve them and then doggy bag the monkfish and duck. I’ve never dined at a Michelin starred restaurant who behave like that.

It is very restrictive menu. All main course dishes are to be shared. Best to go as a

Wow. Dined here recently to celebrate my wife's birthday and the whole experience did not disappoint.Cocktails at the bar whilst we waited and the service from Jacob, Boo and Daisy was just perfect. We had the caviar rostis, which I would quite happily come back and eat a plate of - delicious. The lobster brioche was just delightful, as was beef tartare - one of my favourites. The star of the dinner was the steak. I don't know what they do it to it, but I would put this in the top three I've had in any restaurant. If you get an opportunity to dine here - take it. You will not be disappointed.

The best steak I have ever had in my life. Amazing staff, food and atmosphere. This place is a vibe - we were the last to leave.

Unforgettable evening! This was our second visit, the first being a lunch so thought it’d be fun to go Friday night for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were treated like neighbourhood friends, a lovely touch to start our evening. Our waitress was outstanding and we had at least three others taking care of us throughout the night, checking in to make sure we were happy. Food and drinks are exceptional and top quality - oysters were fantastic as were the rosti’s, and the pork chop was on another level with its smokiness and taste - all very delicious. Jacob and the team went out of their way to make our special night at Dorian unforgettable - the service and food was absolutely impeccable and we cannot wait to go back again soon. Thank you, Dorian!

Stepping into this restaurant immediately sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food is outstanding, each dish a delight of flavors, and the service is unparalleled—attentive and warm. The ambiance ties it all together perfectly. This place is a culinary gem that's absolutely worth trying. An unequivocal recommendation!

Have been three times and counting- service always good, steaks always amazing especially tbone. Cocktails alright but great wines. French toast dessert is also great. Only complaint is first time we went bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

Diabolically bad food!!!! ... I've had lamb perhaps 40 times in my life, and this was the worse by far ... Sinewy, massively undercooked, served in a sea of unappetizing white & red sauce (which made impossible any request for a tad further cooking). The rösti were also totally forgettable. As a Notting Hill resident of 20+ years, this is most comically bad food I've ever eaten here - and £250 for 2. So much better food over the years at Caia, Core, 108 Garage, Fiend, The Ledbury, Assaggi, Marianne, Modern French, Cépages, Wormwood, etc. How this place got a 1 star Michelin is beyond me ...

The food was fantastic, but the service needs to be urgently improved. On arrival, there were delays being seated and then to have any order taken. After finishing our mains, we were unprecedentedly asked to leave our table, immediately, and order dessert and finish our meal while standing in a crowded corner by the door. We were only really seated about 1 hour. This caught me off guard and made me very disappointed, especially for the premium price you pay here at a Michelin star restaurant. While the food was great, I couldn’t focus on the flavour or experience of the dessert course at all.We left with mixed feelings, disappointed and being let down, especially as the food was good.I can note that when making a reservation, you are charged a deposit immediately and this amount is deducted from your final bill, which I have never had before. While at first I would like to return, what if this happened on my birthday or while entertaining a client?I don’t know if it’s worth the risk.

I've been to Dorian several times and it goes from strength to strength. The food is truly exceptional, with a low key, warm, buzzy, local bistro vibe - a perfect combination. On this recent visit, we had the crab and pomelo rostis, the white asparagus, and the turbot with clams. The chef is excellent and certainly deserving of the Michelin star. The sauces on the asparagus and turbot dishes were sublime. The produce is extremely fresh, the service warm, helpful and unpretentious. Thank you for the always memorable meals!

FoodFood at Dorian is incredible. Nothing else to say.ServiceWhen it comes to service there is a long way to go to match the excellence of a Michelin star.We arrived on time for our reservation and were asked to wait for a couple of minutes for our bar seats to be vacant. Not a problem at all.We sat and the staff took around 15min to acknowledge we were there and ask for our drinks. When we got to start ordering food was already past 8pm. After that the food arrived promptly dish after dish. Although as we were finishing our main (around 9pm) one of the servers came to us and very politely asked if we could leave our seats and finish our meal standing by the window as the next reservation was already waiting. So we had no choice but to stand by the window in a very crowded area in between customers and staff passing all the time.Never in my life on any restaurant I was asked to finish my meal standing to leave the seats for the next clients. This is not acceptable anywhere but specially in a Michelin star restaurant where you pay an average price of £150 per person. The whole situation and the attitude of the staff makes you feel that they are making you a favour to have you there which is not pleasant. On another note when I made the reservation I was immediately charged £50 (£25 per person) which is then deducted on the bill. Again not a nice gesture. To mention that they offered the deserts to apologise for the inconvenience. It’s a shame because the food is really great at Dorian but this kind of service and attitude towards the clients doesn’t make me want to go back.

Leave the preconceptions at home You come to Dorian for the exceptional food (honestly the quality of the ingredients will blown you away), the decadence (don't come here if you count calories) the superb wine list and lively and infectious atmosphere. The staff is some of the best in town. Feels like your local favourite spot, the one you can't stop going back to.
