Stumbled upon this gem late one evening and had the chirashi don, tempura udon and sushi roll I forgot the name of. The sashimi was fresh and delicate, sushi roll was exquistely presented and the matcha & black sesame ice cream was the icing on top of the cake (no pun intended!)Would recommend for anyone looking for a intimate and ambient dining spot for Japanese cuisine, for date night, family dinner or with friends. The food, service and environment was all perfect and would definitely come back again!

We went for lunch. The lunch menu is a really excellent price and the food was delicious. As a vegan, I think the bento box and some side dishes are the few options available, it would be great if in the future there might be a vegetarian ramen available ?Service was nice and quick, we appreciated the staff. They had a lot of customers which is always a good sign! We will definitely come again, thank you!Vegetarian options: There are not as many vegetarian options available, but the vegetabke gyoza and tofu bento box were really great- large portions.

Do not go here, most impolite owner I have ever encountered. Their website or phone number was not working for a mobile order so I proceeded to walk into the store to order. The owner then tells me I cannot do that and proceeded to say “what do you expect me to do about it”. Save your time and try the better Japanese cuisine in South Kensington.

Fantastic food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.Highly recommended if you want authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price for central London.

Excellent flavour combinations with classic Japanese notes within the dishes. Highly recommend for a casual delicious meal.

It was a quick lunch for two, simple good food. There is a lunch menu but ordered from the A la Carte menu.

Lovely small Japanese restaurant. Delicious food and a good selection of drinks. Nice atmosphere. Highly
Every time we are in London we try to get to dozo which is not always easy as they sometimes don’t take reservations- anyway you have to try the spicy rahmen I never had a better rahmen in my live!

Dozo offers a large selection of Japanese food, including exotic dishes like uni gunkan. They strangely also have English dishes on the menu, like lamb chops. Pricey.

Serves similar food as the one in Soho. Superb location in South Kensington. There are two floors. I recommend the eel rice for kids. The chilli beef Raman is delish.Kid-friendliness: You might need to fold your pushchair.
