1 am very disappointed with this branch- first food egusi was salty and tasteless - 2nd food was croaker fish and they poured normal stew on the fish and stew was served as the sauce for the fried yam.

My family and I from the United States visited the Brixston location of Enish on 27 October 2023. We had a terrible and very frightening experience. First, the music was extremely loud to the point we couldn’t hear each other and the waitress. Second, it took so long to prepare meals. Lastly, after spending £497, signed and left £100 tip on the merchant copy, the waitress politely asserted that tips was supposed to be added to the total bill prior to charging my card. So, she returned the merchant copy with the signed tips, I signed the customer copy and gave her $110 in cash as tips. When we were ready to go home, I male staffer held us hostage and insisted we wanted the signed merchant copy with the tips on it. We logged into our American Express account, showed them the transaction was charged. As Americans, we considered this as an act of fraud, disrespect and unprofessional behavior. So, I called the police. While we waited for the cops to arrived, the waitress was recalled back to work (because she had left before the ordeal started) and told the male staffer everything was good. I would not recommend Enish to any American visiting London. Dr. Max

Great food! I had the jollof rice with plantain and beans. Really tasty! The combination of all these together was soo good!Service was good but a bit impatient with my questions as i have never been to a Nigerian place before. I understand the waiter that there is not a lot of time as it was busy but it would have been nice to not feel like I’m disturbing. Nevertheless very helpful and good music playing in the background. The security standing outside were the sweetest.

Disgusting and very mediocre it’s only those who have no taste of African cuisine who would find this place delicious and to their liking but for me as a real Nigerian I did not enjoy this place one bit . Very expensive for stew that taste like watered down tomato sauce. And chicken that is smelling of sewage . The jollof rice was even worse! no flavour, no pepper every was just BLAND! If I could give 0 star I would 100 times! . This is embarrassing .

I come to this Enish restaurant a lot with my family, the food is ok, but the staff are very, very rude, the way they talk to customers, I can't believe it, I didn't know my own is coming. The way the guy spoke to me and my partner because we came in and sat down to order food. My partner even asked him what wrong with you and that you were not smiling. I am never in my life going back again. This is not the first time I have seen this happen. The staff talk to customers like we are not paying for the food. Even when you finish eating, they want you to get up and go straight away like you got the food for free. Customer service is terrible ???

Food is ok but unfortunately service is terrible. Orders messed up and I've been told there's nothing they can do even though I've paid. Food is expensive for what it is although portion size is relative to this. I've had to wait double the time to wait for a take away and also been told I can't change my order because it's been entered in the system. Ridiculous... Not how to run a business when the error is their fault rather than the customer. Also they had cockroaches pretty sure this gave me a bad tummy....

Good food... Looks tiny, but filling ?... Atmosphere is fiinneee... Especially if you are a Nigerian and already used to atmosphere like that. The restaurant itself needs to work on its decor aesthetics.... Some paint on the wall was already peeling...

Lacked flavour of any kind. I asked for salt and pepper and they didn't have any to hand. It eventually came out in a tupperware dish. For a meal for 2 that cost over £120, I was mortified. I definitely preferred the food at the Croydon and Catford branches.

Came on a late night with two small kids. Amazing service from start to finish from Ibrahim. Portions were great... even had take away as well! Music good, kids appropriate and kids thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Thank you all again. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone for great food and exceptional service.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Other families had children with them. Music kid appropriate and so is the environment.Parking: Parked right outside

Pros: the portions are massive, really provide value for money.Prices are reasonable.Menu is authentically Nigerian and tasty AF.Although the music started a bit loud, the place really had a good ambiance.Cons:The egusi is so good it seems even the cockroaches want some! Naturally we asked they sort this out and in fairness the waitress did come over crush it and sweep it up. However hygiene can't be overlooked.VerdictWe enjoyed our food but it was quite off putting realising the restaurant has cockroaches which undermines overall review. When concrete hygiene improvements have been made I'll happily delete my review and return to eat again. 2*

Partner had phone stolen in addition to driving licence and British veterans card. Establishment denies anything happened and maintains there is no cctv footage to assist.

Good food, good service. I enjoyed the music by the DJ, too. The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet space in brixt, which makes it perfect for your dining

My mum ordered Croaker fish with plantain & I had okra (Asepo) and pounded yam with a drink of Chapman ?Kiki was a very attentive waitress and all the staff were professional & catered to us and made us feel very comfortable!Very appropriate music selection & the special song for mothers ‘Sweet Mother’ was played ??Thank you Enish Brixton!Parking: Parking was okay as it was Sunday. ?? Parked right outside the restaurant.
