Absolutely fantastic Saturday lunch. Food was terrific and staff helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and try Fish Wings & Tings.

The sweetest managers I met in London! Keep it up!

Super cosy place with indoor and outdoor seating in Brixton Village. Now with Veg and Tings next door the seating area has now doubled. The plantains were super freshly fried, sweet and soft. My prawn roti, the prawns were super well cooked, the chickpeas could have had a bit more depth of flavour, but the tamarind sauce went super well with this. The roti plate was massive and super filling. My husband liked his jerk chicken but found it a tiny bit too spicy. We paid £41 for the two plates, plantain and one soft drink.Vegetarian options: Veg and tings menu is all vegetarian

Review for Veg and Tings! :)Brilliant service and delicious food. Really friendly place. Try it out. I’m adding this to the Fish, Wings and Tings page as I can find the Veg and Tings as it’s so new! Opened this week.

The food was simply delicious! Flavors on flavors on flavors I was super satisfied and this place lived up to all the hype!! Service was amazing and the vibes were vibing ! I'm glad I get to say I went to London for the first time in my life and came across this place in Brixton by word of a mouth from a local well known DJ (Big Up Mixmaster J) Thanks so much for sharing this amazing little place w BIG flava! Wish I could give 5 x10 stars!! Bonus: I got to meet the owner Mr. Brian Danclair who happened to be dining in the table next to us! Super Humble and super gracious host!!!

Over priced under flavoured food. Boring range of choices. None of the joy of Afro Caribbean

This place is absolutely horrible. And as a trini woman this is not the epitome of what Trinidad food tastes like. It’s a real disappointment. This is watered down English version of trini food, with non trini people making this food. So it’s not valid in my opinion. I found hair in my food in this place on multiple times. Which is soo disgusting. Why was their hair fried into my fritter. That actually makes me sick. There’s always hair in their food. I will never visit again in my life. That is ultimately disappointing and disgusting.really a shame to Trinidad food.

Small space with some of the best food we’ve had. Loved every bite. The optional sauces have some bite so be sure to get a rum

Absolute DISGRACE to call this Caribbean food, my grandma would be turning in her grave.Tasteless mutton and chicken stew. Dry and smallest portion for the price. 4 pieces of meat in each portion for £18. Scandalous. The coleslaw is like a free sample size - how can they charge for that pathetic size !?This restaurant makes an absolute mockery of customers and rips them off.The ginger ale - should be a nice Caribbean ginger instead it’s lame Schweppes.NOT NOT RECOMMEND. They are plenty of good places to chose. DO NOT CHOSE THIS.

No opening hours on website that I could find. However their face book page said open noon till 10pm on Mondays. Turned up at 5pm with an overseas visitor who had seen the place on tv & really wanted to try their food. It was closed. One stars only because can't give zero from the disappointed visitor.
