Food always good, although some lines are better when they are still warm, but there's no option to warm up later in the day sadly, so a melted cheese croissant eaten cold isn't quite as nice. Coffee nice, but I've yet to find a branch that can make tea! The loose tea scoop is large, and often they have put three large scoops into a small pot...one is probably the amount of two tea bags. It's also a waste of tea. Expensive for what it is really... staff usually helpful.

Popped in for a coffee & pastry, very nice savoury cheese straw, and the berry & mustard danish. It was warm and comfy to enjoy hot coffee in a rainy day.

Last two times I went here a group of people upstairs were running a tech support business for go daddy out the top floor, taking up loads of space, laptops out, headsets, multiple phones, what a joke. For somewhere that was short on space why weren't they moved along???It is nice in here but as you probably know Gail's is pretty expensive for what it is. This branch gets VERY busy (probably because of people using it as their office) and VERY loud. Not a good place to sit with someone. We live around the corner but wont be coming back.

Please, please, please train your staff. I was just served by a very young woman who clearly wanted to be somewhere else and her entire being radiated it. She whispered under her nose so listlessly, I had to ask her to repeat every part of a basic interaction. She then took an extremely long time - based on no queue before or after me - to prepare the absolutely worst, watery disaster of a hot chocolate I have ever tasted. She was so distracted that when I tried it and said, "This really poorly made," she just couldn't muster any reaction at all. This is no way to run a place. I feel bad for this young woman - please can you focus on giving your employees some sort of useful life skills?

Coffee is nice and so is the crossaint. Sat outside at tables located at Front of store. Went back in to use the toilet only for an older lady working in the kitchen who kept staring at my lunchbox as I was in my cycling gear. Bit rude, felt uncomfortable, don't think I will go back there again

I come here way more often than I probably should! It’s just too good!!! Sitting upstairs in particular has a really nice atmosphere. A couple of the staff members in particular are really lovely!! They make me feel nice and welcomed and not judged for having my 4th cookie there in two weeks :P

I was there on the morning. One woman was standing before me in the queue. She finished her order, she paid, move on the side and I wanted to order but suddenly she came back and she start ordering again new food. Cashier ignored me completely. She didn’t say sorry or nothing. Rude behaviour from client and rude behaviour from cashier.I’m not coming back there anymore.

Love Gail's Bakery and I go there every week at least once, the upstairs is nice and usually quite to do some work. I am overall happy with this bakery but the recent price increase is a bit too much.Yesterday I paid 4gbp for a oat flat white. Which is not a large cup, unfortunately Gail's bakery is too expensive for their portions (both for food and drinks)Unfortunately I will be visiting less often.

Nice bakery however the service from staffs are pretty terrible in this branch. They told me they can’t toast the slice of bread which came with the soup and didn’t give me the takeout bag for my leftover quiche. Better to improve the service …

Went to Gail’s in Chiswick. Service was poor, counter girls were unfriendly and my coffee was spilled by barista with no apology. Pastries a tad dry, no real differentiator. Overall impression is overpriced and not worth it. I’d recommend you try a more independent cafe.

The bakery selection is good & the quality of the pastries is high. However, the staff are completely disengaged, sultry & more interested in socialising with each other than helping customers. I really felt very unwelcome & will not return. Shame, because I visit London 3 x yearly & will have to find somewhere else that is more friendly.

Love Gail’s Fleet! The selection is amazing - finally a bakery with innovative healthy delicious products!

Whilst sitting enjoying a coffee waiting for our hot chocolate and cake to arrive it was called out. My friend returned with it saying he had just been scolded by the manager with no further explanation so I went over to find out what had happened. I was met with a very irritated manager and her 3 colleagues telling me that we had apparently mocked them calling out the hot chocolate implying that we had mocked one of her staffs accent. I was actually stunned by this accusation that as s 36 year old woman who goes there’s pretty regularly I was seemingly being accused of not only having done something I hadn’t but that I was doing it in some kind of racist way. I obviously vehemently denied and was actually pretty angered by this accusation and all this person kept saying was that she was the manager and tried to get her colleagues to back her completely imaginary accusation. I had two friends with me who were completely bewildered by what she had accused “one of us” of and a room full of customers. The best I got from her is sorry if you think you didn’t say it. This person should not be in charge of anything customer service related based on this fantasy based interaction. She ruined the rest of our catch up and as a parting gift said “enjoy your drink” in a really condescending way. Please Can Gail’s try to encourage their employees not to randomly accuse their paying customers of outbursts and racism. Ironically we were trying to celebrate the first day of Purim, a Jewish holiday!
