Visit at least twice a week for very good coffee. The staff are always a pleasure and now remember my regular order which is a nice touch. Large seating area which is great for bringing my family along to on a Saturday morning, plus the pastries always go down well!

I just went for a takeaway coffee with my sister this morning and was shocked by the rude barista who shouted at my sister. She had forgot to take her pastry at the counter and was talking to me before we heard “EXCUSE ME YOUR PASTRY” in the most aggressive manner. People were beginning to stare and it was incredibly awkward. We were shocked and didn’t say anything, and the lovely barista working with her then was super polite and lovely. She is often working at the coffee machine complaining about the job and has the most miserable temperament. I wish I went and found out her name. Disgusting behaviour given I come here everyday and try and be friendly with all the staff.

I come here all the time. Everyone is super friendly, the food and coffee is the best in London. Rob is always in a great mood and fun to talk to. Anytime people come and visit me in London, this is the first place I take them and they love it.

Went in for coffees and food for the whole family. Left with nothing due to an incongruously rude member of staff while attempting to place a big order. Most odd. We used to be relatively regular at various branches of Gail's. We'll go elsewhere. I've emailed twice ("we’ll reply within three working days, if not sooner" - total nonsense) - no response - and so here we are. I'm a proper five-star merchant to boot so this is an unwelcome break from the norm for me.

I pop in here a few times a week and it's an excellent experience every time. Really nice coffee (they don't even have to ask for my name now!), great bread and lovely members of staff.

Amazing coffee shop with amazing people! The team have really nailed making a chain feel like an independent with all the great Gail's staples in a beautiful setting.

The quality of the products is outstanding, and the assistant manager, Roxana, is truly impressive in her attention to detail and dedication to providing exceptional customer service. It's always a pleasure to visit the bakery!

This is my favourite Gails for sure. The team are super friendly and handle the stress of a busy weekend with a smile on their faces. So lucky to have it as my local.

They clean while the customers are still in so that they can leave promptly at closing time instead of letting people enjoying their drink and food in peace.

The best bakery in the area! I have had pretty much every pastry from Gail’s and they are all delicious! The ham and cheese croissant is so rich, the almond croissant has plenty of filling and the sausage roll is probably the best in London! The baristas are always very friendly and don’t forget your loyalty card as you will be going back again and again once you try it!

Not had a bad experience in any Gails. The one in Abbeville is very well organised. Coffee is nice and there is so much food to choose from. I'm particularly fond of the pastries...always a nice weekend treat

Gail's Abbeville Road is so disappointing. The attitude of the lady who is apparently the manager/assistant manager is not acceptable (I don't know the name of this lady!). She makes you feel that we are not welcome, or makes you feel that she is your boss!!! It seems she is selecting the customers!!! while other staffs are welcome and nice to all customers.I definitely DON'T recommend this place to people who look for an organised and friendly environment.

I Have been coming here for 4 years and supporting this place, the staff 99.9% of the time are amazing, the manager today on the other hand Rob Alexandra was out of order and rude. My 2 kids aged 8 and 10 walked there to buy there treat for the day, as a Parent you do worry about your kids walking around London, they got what they wanted but didn’t know that Galis doesn’t take cash , yep UK legal tender is not accepted at Gail’s. So they walked home to let me know , I then went to the store to get my kids the items with my card , as I went to pay I spoke to Rob about this as I was unaware that a UK business didn’t accept British pounds. He told me I need to learn how to read , yes there is on a very small sign that no one would see when they walk in at the bottom of the door, but nothing in side of the store what so ever stating this, This was definitely not the way to Speak to someone who was spending there money in your store. Rob went on to mock us after we left completely forgetting I was in the store while called me and my son stupid people, this is meant to be management , he is around a lot of young people who work there , I wouldn’t trust him with my kids working there that’s for sure. Management are leaders and Rob is far from a leader . I don’t think I can return back to this Gail’s as this is not what I call a good environment.

Was ignored while staff gave preferential treatment to regular clientele. Staff were very rude, coffee was eventually served - stone cold. Made to feel very unwelcome.
