Gail’s is usually good, but service at this branch is particularly bad… there was barely any service at all - the staff member didn’t say a single word to me. ?

Underwhelming experience. Pain au chocolat quite tasteless and badly made. Waiter didn't even look at me when handing out the coffees.

Horrible horrible scalding hot coffee. Such a disappointment, I even gave it another chance and it was even worse this time.

The lady that worked the till on Thirsday 01/02 was very rude. I went twice, once for my coffee in the morning and didn't pay much attention as I thought it is just opening time.Though the place was very durty.Lots of mess on the floor. However, I went looking for some crackers in the evening.Around 5 pm.First I was unsure if it is still open so I waited by the door while the staff was gossiping with their friend who was wearing Wasabi uniform blocking the door. At some point I was able to ask if it is still open, she told me to come inside. Then continued the conversation with the friend. When I asked do you work here, she told me yes, I am just serving a customer.Serving? Both of them were standing at the same side of the till talking about somebody and what they have done and said.

I went there expecting scones, but the cafe latte was delicious! There are no seats inside the store, but there are about three tables in front of the store where you can sit and eat.

Excellent fresh pastries and coffee . staff are very nice. I highly recommend it. I wish they open Many branches in other cities such as Manchester. I just found one cafe in King street , Manchester city center.

Have always loved Gail’s bread and pastries however service at this particular Gail’s is absolutely shocking ! We went in there to buy a loaf of bread and were told to stick it into a bag which was clearly too narrow for for the Freeform loaf . There was a very rude woman behind the counter and the man working the barista was also uninterested and didn’t seem to know the products they are selling! Some feedback for Gail’s : bread loaves should ideally be kept on the other side of the counter where people cannot touch loaves without the intention of buying them. The staff handling the loaves should be wearing gloves. Also if GAILS (which happens to be very near The Royal Marsden) is not going to accept NHS discount card, put a notice on your window saying so. I was accompanied by a hardworking member of the hospital who was rudely told that the nhs discount will not be offered.Staff were making rude gestures/facial expressions when we were ready to pay. Would not ever visit again. Another Gail’s in the areas is 7 min walk away- go there instead!

Unfortunately a disappointing Gail’s experience. To be honest, I’m a fan of their pastries however service keeps getting worse, and this time I wasn’t able to have what I ordered, simply because the lady wasn’t interested in listening to my full order.Oat latte was quite good in fact. It’s a pity!Parking: Very difficult to find in the area

Nice place, staff are friendly but really incompetent so probably need some training. It's chaotic and disorganised, you can order a pastry and coffee and get your coffee 20 minutes later, without being told there's any wait for half your order.

Great bakery and coffee chain with many locations around London. This location has nice outdoor seating on a pedestrianized street. The baked goods are consistently fresh and tasty.
