“The Dean Swift is honestly such a great find. Every single person working there was super friendly, thanks Bella and Lucie for making the place feel really welcoming and laid-back. I went for the fish and chips, and it was spot on. Big thanks to Pietro chef for that. If you’re in the area, it’s a must-visit for good food and good vibes.”

“It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We visited lunchtime yesterday just for a quick drink. However, when we got there, we were tempted by the lunchtime offer of 2 or 3 courses for £20 or £25. I had the pea ravioli to start and fish and chips for mains. Everything was perfect, very tasty and fresh, and a good-sized portion despite being an offer. Service was faultless, just right not overdone or in your face. Everything at the right time. Lovely cosy pub and surroundings next to the river overlooking the 02 arena. Great outside area for the sunny days, too, with bar and music with the perfect Thames view. This is gem of a place and we'll worth a visit.”

“30+ of us booked a corner to celebrate the completion of our play. We booked the section on the left with pre-dinner drinks and a sit-down dinner. A menu was specially designed for us to fit our budget. All food items were great, the pork croquettes, marinated bavette, beetroot focaccia, pork belly, pumpkin risotto and Lincolnshire sausages. The chef also made us a Guinness chocolate cake and prune Victorian cake. The food is definitely way above typical bar food quality. We were pleasantly surprised.
Being relatively new to the UK and London, it’s the first time many of us stayed so late in a neighbourhood pub. The crowd was super friendly. And they kept on coming even after midnight. We had a wonderful time drinking and dancing after dinner.
Ryan, our server, did a wonderful job. Many didn’t remember what they pre-ordered. Many were not paying much attention when the courses were being served, some were late. We also had a video to be projected. Ryan helped us sort everything out with patience, and a smiley face, and a lot of sweat. Seeing him literally running around reminded us of efficiency and service dedication back in Hong Kong and made us feel at home.
Thanks for making our celebration a memorable evening. We will surely come back.”

“Amazing place and lovely atmosphere, would 100% dine here again. We found out about this place when our office had a summer party here and it’s been my go to place to dine ever since. The food is amazing, love their new volcano pizza and the new winter cocktails they’ve added to their menu. The staff are lovely and always willing to help imminently. Big thanks to Steve, James, abdullah, vish, Amara, Rohit, florin and Hannah who have served me on multiple occasions. Would definitely recommend!”

“The pizzas we had were very good, lot better than all the pizza places.
Real ale also spot on.”
“Delicious Sunday roasts all round, one of the most accommodating venues I've ever come across for kids (meals, cutlery, drawing - you name it!) and such genuinely great staff. Couldn't recommend The Mall Tavern more!”
