The food is unreal, my tired hungover self is so glad food this good, this well spiced, with good portion sizes exists (thank you, food angel!) lovely background music, great atmosphere, very laid back as you'd expect for the area. Where else can you get three hours of superb live music in London for a fiver? Enjoyed the jazz, food and ambience and the canal side location, service was also really friendly. Definitely recommend for a great Thursday evening out.

Another good Hackney Wick bar. Entry was round the back through industrial buildings. Everyone inside very vegan hipster and friendly. Menu looked decent and the beer was alright, St Austell brewery. Music was chilled with bongo drummers playing outside. Could sit in or out. Happy hour cocktail prices were reasonable.
