Not enough stars for this place. Felt like you were part of the crew for the evening. Chef and staff all were incredibly lovely, and that’s before you even have the bread. Every dish was out of this world, the oysters the arrincini the pork belly the gnocchi (my god, the gnocchi) - all with beautiful wine and a desert that shouldn’t be legal it’s so good. Love this spot!

A very special and memorable dining experience. We sat at the counter for an early Saturday night meal because the tables were all fully booked. But what a lovely experience that was! The food was spectacular and I cannot recommend it enough.We ate two delicious starters - a pumpkin & blue cheese salad and the steak tartare. For our main, we had pork and venison - both fantastically cooked and seasoned.But the evening was made even more special by watching (and chatting to) the Head Chef and his team do their magic during service as they prepared ours and everyone else's beautiful meals. It was fascinating!We will definitely be returning for a proper treat :-) Thank you to the whole team at Hatched for the experience.

Having been here before and enjoyed it immensely we brought some friends along to try again. The whole evening has lost the same sense it had the first time (around a year ago), no interaction with chefs or even acknowledgement from staff upon entering, little attention from the waiting staff throughout and it took over 15 mins to get even drinks order in when only 4 tables seated.The food itself remains great, all delicious and well prepared, but this time served at odd intervals to other courses or with wait time between mains, which hampered our enjoyment. For the price you would have expected more attention to serving and timing as well as greater explanation of what is generally an excellent menu. Dined on a Saturday evening with max 4 other tables seated.

Best restaurant in Clapham Junction! The food, service and atmosphere are world class… just waiting for them to get a Michelin star. The food is fantastic every time and absolutely wows the taste buds. The beef cheek arancini has a certain nostalgia about it that takes you right back to a hearty meal made by your grandma but all in one bite, the rosemary bread is also good to start with and the tartare and steak don’t disappoint. The broccoli with that smoked oil is really something different and packs so much flavour and highlights the innovativeness of this restaurant. The team here are also so open and happy to share info with you - they even showed us one time how they make the smoked oil. If you are ever around Clapham Junction or looking for a restaurant around there, you will not be disappointed with anything I can promise you that - cannot recommend enough.
