Looking for a steak restaurant in Leicester Square last minute, didn’t know this one in the Hippodrome, really impressed with the food, we had the chateaubriand which was delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare and served on a hot stone. The sides were tasty. The staff were brilliant, so welcoming and friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Pre booked set menu steak and lobster meal at 4 oclock on a Saturday in december, it was really busy all around London xmas shopping and March's but once inside the casino was really calm, played a few slots then on to restaurent it was empty maybe 3 tables full,. The food was nice, we ordered a few extras as well as the set meal and it was loads, really enjoyed it, the steak was perfect and the filo pastry amazing would return

Another birthday meal at the Heliot and another 5 star visit! A big favourite of ours and it never disappoints. Great service, food and ambience! Had the carpaccio for starters, surf and turf for mains and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Others in the group had rib eye with a load of sides. Everyone left happy and stuffed! Shoutout to our waitress Nuria, who was very attentive and friendly throughout - even when one of my friends spilt the bottle of water all over the table! Definitely coming back again!

Absolutely fantastic. The service was second to none. The food was to die for. The tastiest fillet steak I've had in a long while. Cooked to perfection. The side dishes were delicious and everything was served hot which is a rarity these days. Will definitely be coming back

My husband and I visited Heliot for our anniversary, and it was fantastic!! The food was amazing, and our server, Niko, was brilliant! He was incredibly attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu, and generally made our visit the best it could be. We look forward to visiting Helicot again in the near future

What a great location, looking over the casino tables. We ordered the chateaubriand - rare. It came out on a hot plate with 2 girls mushrooms, accompanied by our choice of creamed spinach and truffle chips. We removed the steak from the hot plate to stop it cooking. Our waiter Paul was charming and knowledgeable, he made the experience a real pleasure. The food was amazing and we will return on our next visit to London.

I went with my girlfriend for a tremendous evening at Heliot and the Hippodrome. The food we were recommended to order by our lovely waitress Nuria was spot on and delicious - all the staff were lovely and highly attentive. The sharing platter with three different steaks and the red velvet cake were both especially fantastic and I’d pass on the recommendation! I will certainly be returning to this hidden gem of a steak restaurant in London.

The score is because of the steak not the service which was very good. I ordered an Argentinian sirloin which I know comes with a rim of fat but there was a lot of it and a lot of sinew which was difficult to cut off. The steak was very wet and chewy and not at all what I was expecting from the reviews. I have had much better elsewhere. My husband had surf and turf. His fillet steak was good but not so much the lobster which was tasteless. Would we eat here again I think not

Amazing food at a reasonable price in the centre of London. We got the chateaubriand and mouse for dessert, both incredible and the mouse might have been the best we’ve had. Our server Niko looked after us all night and he along with all the stand were super friendly

I took a party of 10 for a business dinner at the Heliot Steakhouse on Thursday 7th December. The whole experience was superb. There is a real buzz about the Hippodrome Casino, which provides a great back drop to a social, business, dinner in the Heliot. The food and wine in the Heliot were excellent (the steaks are, I think, the best in London), and, despite being very busy, the service was impeccable; not surprisingly, given that the Heliot is run by Salvo, one of the best General Managers in the business. The Heliot Steakhouse is exceptional and is highly recommended, for business or pleasure.

Never knew it was there! Right inside the casino. Great atmosphere! Excellent service from Paul our waiter- attentive, knowledgeable and enhanced our visit. We both had steaks an USDA prime and Argentinian with a couple of different side salads v reasonably priced! And some chunky chips. The steaks were amazing!! Superb. Recommend highly

The Restaurant is on the second floor of the casino so only for 18 over This was not advertised as we booked through trip advisor the result we were not able to come for a dinner as one of the people was 17 with her mother
