Recommend unreservedly. I could not have been more relieved when I found this company (as a result of a recommendation on Next Door). Our electricity had gone down completely and initially I called out an ‘24 hour emergency’ firm that seemed to have reasonable feedback. They came and failed to diagnose the problem after more than two hours so they left. I still had the problem and I paid a bill that was almost twice as much per hour as I subsequently paid to House Rescue. Jack and his team diagnosed and sorted out our problems thoroughly and competently.

Because we were without heat, and some of our lights, Jack prioritised our job and worked extremely hard to fix the problem. He didn't try and push us to spend more money than we needed to get things up and running and was generally extremely efficient and helpful. We strongly recommend the company.

When my electric water heater stopped working with a cloud of electrical smoke I thought it was time for a new boiler. But after speaking to House Rescue Electrical they said they might know a way to get the system back up & running. Shortly afterwards they came round, replaced some of the electrics & the hot water was back on. I always use House Rescue Electrical for any electrics that need work & they’ve always been great. Amazing, quick service & great value.

Was worried my electrics were a bit dodgy as a fuse kept tripping so got Jack at House Rescue to come and check them out. He was thorough, efficient and charming. Checked all my sockets and appliances, fitted a new fuse box and I’ve had no problems since. He also helped me fit a couple of safer spotlights in my hall and bathroom. His explanation about what needed doing was clear and helpful and his pricing was competitive and accurate (no sudden or hidden costs).
