“Great vegetarian tasting menu, particularly enjoyed the tandoori paneer and gobi biriyani. Lovely atmosphere and cocktails, would go again. Waiting staff could be a bit more attentive.”

“Collected a takeaway order and received a very friendly welcome and chat from staff. The restaurant is well set out with smaller tables and a large circular booth seating, with a convivial atmosphere - there appeared to be lots of regular diners. The food was very tasty and I would like to dine in, next time we visit.”

“I was awarded a virgin experience voucher as part of my 20 years long service as a bus driver & my wife & I planned a weekend away in London so we could use this.We were both made to feel so welcome by all the staff at Kahani who were very professional & curtesy towards us during our whole meal, we had opted for the bottomless brunch which consisted of 6 courses ( see attached photos of some of the dishes) each more than plenty for the 2 of us to share, with the option of more of each course if we could manage it. We found each course, presented beautifully & with a full explanation from our server, to be tasting so full in depth of flavour & we were very satisfied with our experience & full & content at the end of our meal.Great choice of wines, that our glasses were constantly filled for us with the attention to detail from the wonderful staff.Without finding this place via the Virgin experience gifts we probably would never had visited but so thankful we did.We both felt we were giving a 5 star experience & would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“Dishoom is an amazing Indian restaurant in London that serves incredible authentic cuisine. The flavors are bold, complex, and simply delicious. From the fluffy naan bread to the tender lamb curries, every dish I've tried has impressed me. The chicken tikka masala had the perfect blend of savory and creamy flavors. The saag paneer was so flavorful and the spinach was perfectly cooked. The lamb vindaloo packed the right amount of heat. The service is also fantastic. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive and make you feel welcome. On busy nights, they do recommend booking a table in advance which is good advice. Though they try to accommodate walk-ins, it's best to call ahead or reserve online to avoid a long wait. Considering how popular Dishoom is, that's understandable. The atmosphere is lively and fun, blending modern decor with Indian cultural touches. Dishoom pays homage to the old Irani cafes of Bombay. It's a hip place with upscale yet casual vibes. They also have locations in other parts of London, but this Covent Garden location is a favorite.I highly recommend Dishoom for incredible Indian cuisine in London. Just be sure to book a table ahead of time if you don't want to wait! It's absolutely worth trying.”

“Incredible place. Nice and quaint with a feel of exclusivity outside of the hustle and bustle of central London. Lovely interior decor and unparalleled food with tapas style menu; the best Indian my partner and I have had together. Top class service, will be returning.”

“I was genuinely surprised by my lunchtime walk today… I was on the hunt for a plain rice and no curry houses wanted to serve that for me. It was too basic of an order but Bengal Village supported my order and did it all with smiles!Sohag was a gentleman.”

“Went here twice during our stay in London both times were amazing. We did takeaway the first time then ate in the second time. We had Chicken Makhani and Tandoori Chicken Shashlick the second time as well as some Garlic cheese Naan. It took some time for the Tandoori, but we’ll worth the wait. The owner was amazing and very helpful. It’s a small place, but definitely great and fresh food.”

“Straight up amazing. I make it a tradition to go to one upscale meal on vacation, and Trishna was a great choice.Having a Michelin star, my expectations were very high and they were definitely met. We first started with the drinks which were amazing; we then proceeded to order the short rib, scallops, paneer, and samoas. Think traditional Indian food with a slight experimental touch. Please note that the servings are very generous. Two entries and an appetizer should be enough for two people. In terms of the customer service, all the staff is very helpful and cordial. And they are happy to explain the menu. As for the environment, it is a perfect place for a nice get-together or a date.Quick tips, you will need a reservation if you arrive later at night. However, if you get there at the opening, you might be able to get a walk-in appointment. Thank you, Trishna for a wonderful night in London!”
