Gisele and her team were so welcoming and wonderful to our party of 13. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant really lovely. We loved the set menu which had very generous portion sizes. The team were also able to cater for different diets, and the veggie set menu was brilliant. We all left very certain that we’ll return again soon. Thank you so much for such a lovely evening!

Shocking service, very noisey. More of a student vibe with cash only and BYOB....Given the response below I will clarify. The service was appalling we were rushed from the minute we got there with three waiters coming for our order within the first few minutes.Therefor food was good, service and atmosphere Bad. I hope that clarifies the worthiness of this review. Remember a review is based on the environment and service you provide at the time and from someone who lives very close by you have a reputation for rushed and borderline rude service.Kid-friendliness: Not a place to take young kids.

The food was lovely but we honestly were not told we only had 1.5 hours until we arrived. I think this let it down a bit and we were rushed through. We ordered our mains, went to the toilet and they were already on the table. I think 2 hour bookings slots should be done bec realistically people are late. You can't always count on the transport. It should say 1.5 hour slots on the website. There obviously isn't enough time for everything in 1.5 hours bec you shouldn't feel so rushed.

Everything about this restaurant is brilliant! Authentic Thai food, lovely staff and BYOB! I celebrated my birthday here yesterday and really enjoyed it, I also highly recommend the banana dessert dish, it was amazing! I will definitely be back, thank you!

I went here with 10 of my friends the other night. The food was excellent but the service was awful. We were rushed from the minute we arrived. Half of our starters came out of the kitchen within a minute of ordering and the other half were waiting 10 minutes. The waiter then asked for our mains order while half of us still had starters in front of them so we had to ask to wait until we were finished eating all of our starters to which the waiter rolled her eyes at us. It was someone’s birthday so we asked the waiter to bring out a birthday cake and candles (which we provided) as you usually do in a restaurant. It was initially refused because we only had 45 minutes left on our booking? After some persuasion they took the cake. In the middle of eating our mains the cake was brought out which was strange and felt like they did it on purpose to annoy us. Once we paid we were ushered out of the restaurant immediately. Again the food was amazing! I’d come back here with a smaller group and hope we don’t get the same waiter.

Been here before, enjoyed it so came back with friends. We booked for 9pm, arrived 10 mins late. Apologised. Food came out super fast which was great but we were made to wolf down our food like a school dinner and lights went off by 10.10pm, showed the door. It closes as 10.30pm, according to their front door. Next time it would be good if they could be a bit more open about when they need to close etc so that people can manage their expectations/ how much food they order.

Koasarn is the best Thai I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to Thailand!). The food is always so tasty and flavoursome and the owner is super friendly. If you’re ever in doubt of where to book, book here! The service was fast and they were so accommodating for us. Thank you Koasarn, we’ll be back soon!

Before we booked, we were advised we had the table for 1.5 hours only. Very soon after we sat down, we were asked to make our order quickly because another group was arriving in 1.5 hours. Our starters were delivered immediately, quickly followed by our mains (before our starters were finished). The food was very nice but everything felt very rushed, and we were asked to leave 10 minutes or so before we had agreed. It was a dampener on our evening, which otherwise would have been very pleasant.
