Fabulous dinner in great surroundings and the wine list is incredible, highly recommended by a friend, so arrived with high expectations and wasn’t disappointed.

We had an amazing time here. The service from start to finish was excellent. The food was fantastic. I can recommend the duck breast, and balloon girl pudding, but everything we had was great. It has quite a casual and relaxed atmosphere, but the food is something special. I would definitely recommend visiting for a treat or special occasion.

The food was okay. A little bland on the main entrée. Steak was cooked perfectly but under seasoned. The fries would bring me back here alone. Drinks we good, olives have pits so watch those martinis. The lobster appetizer is inventive and delicious. Deconstructed lobster bisque.

The food was a very high standard and the individual plates had some very interesting flavours. The food arrived in good time and given the different choices all arrived at the same time.Perhaps the bar where we came in could be better organised. Waiting for someone to take coats and ordering drinks was not perfect.The staff who served us were excellent. Their willingness to explain dishes and the options for meat could not be bettered.One oddity was that the restaurant did not have a loo. This was in the hotel but everyone I saw was escorted to it.My only letdown was not been given a gogs paw. (You will know if you go)

Spectacular food. Service was ok at best. It took too long to be greeted and seated. Despite having a booking. Staff kept walking past us but not acknowledging until I asked a couple of times. Then after our food, we struggled to get someone’s eye contact just to get the bill. Strange. Food was top-notch though, and the price matched it! :)

I took my friend here for her birthday. First impressions were amazing. Beautiful restaurant, fabulous staff. Unfortunately not many diners, so no atmosphere. We had the set lunch menu. Starter was delicious. We had the fish and chips mains. The chips were fabulous, unfortunately the fish was a total disappointment. The batter was thick and greasy which was inedible. This left a very small amount of fish which was lovely but very small. I would have loved to complain but as it was a celebration I didn't feel this was appropriate. Unfortunately I xan not recommend this restaurant, a total disappointment. Lovely staff.
