Fifth or sixth time here. This place is amazing. KFC is delicious as is the kimchi jeon. Can’t say enough positive things about this place. We love it

Updated for vegan food. Been here since it opened, always amazing. NOTE, they're becoming increasingly popular, recommend to book for dinner, you never know when it'll be busy.Has a good number of vegan options, once I've tried:- KFC, Korean fried cauliflowerMust try! The crispiness.- Yasai ten donTempura rice bowl, they make really good tempura!- Soon dobu jjigae (ask for vegan)Spicy street with soft tofu now available as vegan option!- Mapo tofu donburiFried on the outside, soft tofu in the middle, spicy tangy sauce, all on top of rice. Perfect rice dish.- Chapjae (ask for vegan)Simple noodle dish, hearty, my favourite.- Tteobokki (ask for vegan)Great starter, not sure what's not vegan with the original.Vegetarian options: Vegan options

Been a few times as we live nearby. Nice busy ambience inside. The food is great. Two times I’ve been they did forget my order but I forgive them as they are run off their feet. Gentle reminder and it’s all good! Quite small so probably best to book.

My husband and I came here before a comedy night at the Tommyfield and we had the most wonderful time that we booked to come back the next week before we had even left. We ate the Korean food and it was delicious. We had the Fried chicken which was amazing, the kimchi pancake and a noodle soup dish. All incredible and we cannot fault it. The service was also great as the waiter was lovely and recommending dishes and drinks. We tried soju for the first time on the waiter's recommendation and now we are obsessed. Going back tonight to try more and it will be a regular for us now.

Defo don't understand how their rating is so high, the service / atmosphere are good yeah but it's defo pricey and not good (quality is more similar to food you can get from Lidl / Tesco)Wouldn't recommend.

Great service and great food for such a fair price! The place is super cozy and bustling. I had such a great time here. Also the service was very friendly. Everything combined with very tasty food made our dinner very good :)

Best restaurant in Kennington. Quality food, wonderful attentive staff and great busy atmosphere. Totally worth more than one visit.

It’s Korean and Japanese. Can it be any good at both?Thankfully the answer is yes. The portions and quality are amazing. Nicely authentic and whilst the restaurant is small that’s the only downside I can think of.Pricing is also decent given the way many other restaurants continue to put up prices, this feels a bit like pre 2019 again.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible to the very small and cramped layout. Fine for those using walking frames, crutches or walking sticks

Oh my, we were lucky to get a table here without reservation as we stumbled across this place walking past. Thank the lord we didn'thead for some average pub grub. The food here is DELICIOUS. Every single dish was perfectly flavoured, tasty and exceptional value. I wanted to eat every dish but my stomach said otherwise. I wish I lived closer, but maybe that's a good thing as I'd want every meal here.

Great little restaurant. Came for lunch on a Saturday and got kimchi, beef bbq, kimchi and miso cauliflower and it was all delicious, especially the cauliflower. Friendly service too!

Excellent. Visited tonight in a group of four and we all really enjoyed the visit. I’m a big fan of Korean cuisine and thought the food at Kuma was some of the best I’ve had.We had bibimbap, japche, KFC, kimchi pancakes, gyoza and bulgogi. Every dish was good and the food arrived pretty speedily, but was obviously freshly prepared.Restaurant was buzzy and full for a Thursday evening- if we hadn’t booked we would not have been able to get a table. The staff were friendly and we felt well looked after. Will definitely be back.

Affordable, delicious and interesting menu. You need to go here. The Korean Fried Cauliflower was the best cauliflower I've ever put in my mouth, and I'm not a man who has been shy with cauliflower.Everything we ate was was excellent, the drinks menu was interesting and diverse. Brilliant vegan options. Service great and it had a really buzzy atmosphere. Would strongly recommend.Vegetarian options: We dined with a vegan and ordered entirely vegan, we weren't restricted at all and the options were wide.

The food was super delicious! And the service was really good! We tried the KFC, bibimbap, and kimchi jjigae and they were all excellent!

More Korean than Japanese - tempura but no sushi or sashimi. I wouldn't describe the place as destinational - food OK but not outstanding.
