Mamasons is a beacon of Filipino merienda in this busy part of London. Particularly “pampalamig" or food to cool one down in the Philippine context. In the UK sweet delicious desserts are still in demand regardless of weather. Also loved the art and color of the place. Another spot to introduce those new to Filipino flavors, no different from the other restaurants owned by Mamasons’ parent company the Maginhawa Group.

I truly believe this is the tastiest Ice cream ever. I had the citrus ? flavour. My wife had coconut and it was so good, I was super impressed. You order through tablet type screens on the left, tap and pay, and then wait for your number to be called.Great set up can't fault this super ice cream !!Please try it

I like how the ordering was done on computers when you walk in so you could take your time ordering more and see full

I remember the ube ice cream being so good but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. The ice cream is more of a soft serve texture and I would have preferred it to be a bit firmer. Outside is very doughy as well. An average dessert.

Super delicious! Not too sweet but very yummy! My husband had a great time having his favorite Filipino dessert!

I have never tried anything like this before. The colour is so so cool and the taste is very unique and does take some getting used to.

I swear that the bun with the ube ice cream filling is one of the best things I tried in my life. The ice cream is so good and the hot but with the cold ice cream is just a match made in heaven. Sad that I don't live in London to have it more often.

The Bilog with Ube ice cream was more doughy than I expected by looking at the picture. I wonder if they actually aren’t toasted long enough. They’re just quickly warmed really… I think would be much better if they were dusted first, be brave with toasting so they’re actually almost hot outside and slightly caramelised. Then dust again. The ice cream won’t melt. Be brave and toast don’t just quickly warm!

Lovely (and lively!) Filipino ice cream place with unique flavours like ube, black buko and queso. I went for the bilog (ice cream sandwich) filled with ube ice cream, served in a warm pandesal roll dusted with powdered sugar. Will go back to check out more stuff, hopefully at a less crowded time!Dietary restrictions: The lychee and calamansi ice cream flavours are vegan.

Not for everyone, we had a bilog, was a bit to coconutty for me and too much like a bread roll, must just not be my taste. Shop looked was busy but ordered was completed quick. Also sadly lychee ice cream had run out so my wife had a cheese flavour which wasn't very nice and the malt one which was alright. Very Instagrammable. Just not for us I think.
