This review is more for allergy sufferers.. these guys have got you. The staff here went beyond my expectations looking after me. I emailed in advance to check as I have an onion allergy among other things (dining out is the worst) and I was reassured with loads of choices that they could cater for me. And even better, when I arrived for my booking Sofia had tailored one of their menus for me so I could effortlessly order. I mean, it made me so happy. Next up, the food was actually still so delicious and beautifully presented. The problem with so many other restaurants is that in the end all they can serve you is plain, boring food. Here I had the tuna tartar which was perfect and a decent size, and the picanha steak with cassava, cooked so well with so much flavour. I will be back and bringing more people for sure. Thank you to everyone at Mommi! (also, cocktails were divine!)

Amazing food, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, great music… the food especially was great, generous portions and reasonable prices. Angela helped us to get a good table, she was very friendly and warm!!! 100% recommended!!!!

We have heard of this place and wanted to try it out. I ordered Ceviche and it was a 2 out of 10. Chunks of red peppers, raw cauliflower (when did this dish ever come with such vegetable??), thickly sliced onions and some hard corn. I asked waiter if they sell Peru's iconic drinks Inka Kola and Chicha Morada. He didn't even know what they were!!! The starters were Nachos but like every other Nachos dry and tasteless. The overall flavours of the dishes were very poor. My friend ordered the Qinoua Chicken and again very tasteless and it was slightly undercooked. Shockingly terrible seasoning and just bland bland bland. I will never go again and if anyone gives this place a 5 star then they obviously never eaten real Peruvian food or anything similar. Oh and the men's cloakroom was filthy.

Lovely jovely

So cool and atmospheric. Food was yummy in my tummy ? and lovely presentation! ?

Went there last night with a group of 13. We had a wonderful time. The set menus work like a charm, great choice of foods and some nice little treats. The staff were accommodating, friendly and attentive. We were a happy bunch doing shots and cocktails and the waiters ensured we never had to wait to order another drink. It was our friends bday and the staff had also brought out a lovely cake with candles for that occasion.I don’t normally go out in Clapham and have to say I am happy I did last night. Will be back.Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian options.

We went there for the first time being intrigued by the Japanese/Peruvian style menu. Sounds weird but was actually great. They offer a menu deal for 20GBP for a start and a main and you can add a beer or housewine for a total of 25GBP. There are some supplements through for starters and mains. Still a good deal in my opinion. We had the Tuna Tartare and the Beef Tataki as a starter. Both delicious. For the main we both had the Rump Steak. This cut can be a bit tricky as it is sometimes a bit chewy. I ordered it blue and it came blue (not a lot of restaurants do that). After it has rested a bit on the plate it was lovely to eat. The waiters are very nice, attentive and vibrant as the place itself. Definitely go in there if you are in that area. Very good choice!

Nice food but very poor service. Had a booking and when we arrived and gave the name, the hostess disappeared. We thought she was preparing our table but then saw her serving tables: someone else came and said the other person would come back and then left. Finally a 3rd person came and took us to our table. After that the service got better but after we had our food, we were ignored the rest of night and struggled to order dessert and pay the bill. Overall service was disorganised and some servers fairly rude. It’s a shame as the food was nice but the service doesn’t make you want to return.

Fun time, vibe is on point. Although there have been times where staff would tell each other off Infront of customers, they still delivered well enough. Also good place for music and drinking some more!

The stars go only for the friendly waiter and the nice presentation of the food.Completely disappointed with the menu, quality and taste of the food. Went for a dinner with friends, ordered a few appetizers and mains each.Food generally was salty, not impressive at all and blunt.Croquetas were dry, looked and tasted like falafel. Literally. The sushi power bowl was sticky and plain. The grilled steak was very salty. Chicken teriyaki was overcooked to dryness.Unfortunately, i don’t recommend this place and will not visit again. Pity, it’s cosy and the staff is nice. Oh well

The managers were so lovely and made the experience for us amazing. We got to the brunch about 6 but didn’t leave until past 1 as the atmosphere was that good! Although we were slightly late due to train delays, we were ensured to still have our brunch experience with extra time added on drinks for us, they did everything we could to have an amazing night.

I'm surprised about some of the low reviews, perhaps there have been some changes because my partner and I had a great time and we're usually a bit picky. Food was fresh and tasty and we loved coconut cocktails. I'd say they could be more generous with the portions for the mains as it is almost the same size as the starter but almost twice as expensive. Overall, we had a very nice time and would recommend.

We booked here to celebrate my birthday dinner. There was roughly 20 of us and I have to say the communication and ease of booking and doing a pre order was absolutely brilliant. They were very quick to reply to my emails and the process was very smooth. The menu had loads of choice and we thought it was very reasonably priced. The food was delicious and cocktails also. The only note I would add was that the bathrooms were pretty gross. My party started arriving and were pretty shocked at the state of the bathrooms. Toilet roll everywhere, not clean and even vomit on the toilet seats and floor. One of my party mentioned it to the bar staff who did seem to act accordingly and resolve the issue but maybe something they should check more often themselves?

Amazing Vegan food! So great to get an exciting vegan meal. Starter of crispy gyozas. Lots of different flavours to excite the tastebuds. Main of cauliflower steak on fennels an cauliflower purée with zingy salsa with chilli and beetroot. Highly recommended!

The waitress was nice that tended to us and the staff were understanding about our delay for the reservations. Most of the food items were not good and the coconut based drink was awful... and I wasn't able to swap for a new one :(They have a happy hour deal later than when we went maybe that's a better atmosphere than at around 6/7pmFrom the picture the croquetes were not nice. The sweet potato fried were undercooked. The prawns were nice and the bread was divine ?

We went for brunch, very generous with the prosecco and a cocktail included too. It's a lovely venue, so we sat indoors although it was a lovely day. We enjoyed the food but felt the portion could have been just a little bigger, or perhaps a starter included. 1 star lost because the music wasn't really giving pop party power ballads as advertised despite there being a DJ. Honestly a fun Spotify play list would have done the trick! We'd happily visit again, even if not for brunch. Great service too.
