Visited this wonderful place over the weekend with my husband, toddler daughter, and our furry friend. It's a haven for dog lovers – they're not just welcomed but embraced! The family-friendly atmosphere made our outing even more enjoyable. The picturesque surroundings and welcoming ambiance make it a perfect spot for quality family time. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful blend of family and pet-friendly vibes!

I've been to ninth life many times, whether it was with friends, with family, birthdays, or leaving drinks, and it has never disappointed. It is always lots of fun, there are events that occur here, their escape room was a fun little thing too, they've had dancers and good djs, bad djs too of course. The atmosphere is always lively, and sometimes you forget it's a pub and not a club. The exterior is pretty and the interior has interesting (in a good way) decor! The staff are great, sweet and good at making cocktails. The food is definitely some of the best quality pub food you'll ever try.

The mens toilets are almost unbearable to use.Absolutely filthy and no evidence of them being cleaned recently. Floors filthy, smell unbearable. Sort it out. This is a family friendly pub but people will not seek to book any occasions or events where very basic cleanliness in toilets is not observed.

Please sort the toilets out! They are outdated, dirty and smelly. When you approach the toilets the smell coming from the mens is pungent and rude! The toliets are clearly never checked cause there was no toliet roll in the ladies and to be honest they are not much better in terms of smell. I walked in and walked right back out. It didn't feel safe to even hover over the toliet to have a wee. Needs urgent renovation.

We had a fabulous time here last weekend. Had booked the stables out the back for a large group & lots of children. The team couldn’t have been better on the day: so welcoming and accommodating. Big thanks to Jacob, Will, Charlie and everyone else in the team for giving us such a fun and relaxing afternoon. But extra massive shout out to Mr Barns & Jason in the kitchen - the food was fab & everyone was very happy. Recommend the Curried Goat.Hope you’ll have us back next year.Kid-friendliness: One of the most kid-friendly pubs I’ve been to. Arcade machine for those who want to, a dance floor/ stage the kids all loved, loads of space including a courtyard. And a very welcoming team.

Food was good. Staff seemed very overstretched. Nice atmosphere in the front pub area. Asked whether they provided (or sold) earplugs as the music was incredibly loud. Was told just a point-blank "no." Felt a bit careless. I work in a venue and it would piss me off to treat customers like this. Any responsible venue (especially if you do live music and DJ) will have earplugs to protect both audiences and staff. Also, neurodivergent/disabled customers will be forced to leave if venue is careless about things like this - not super impressed.

Love the decor of this place, it is so quirky and fresh!!!!! Brilliant atmosphere and the quiz is top. Will be definitely be back again. Oh before I forget, I had some issues with finding a decent place to park and Jacob was wicked in helping me find somewhere and was so attentive after a stressful situation.Vegetarian options: Veggies options are amazing

Had a really great time with friends here on Tuesday, we came for the pub quiz, didn’t win but still had fun. Food was amazing too, jerk chicken with rice and peas cooked beautifully. Would definitely recommend this pub, hats off to Jacob and his team

Just returned from 2nd of September So Fetch night. We had been looking forward to this night for weeks. We even came out early to eat in the pub beforehand. First of all there was a big issue as the bouncer had let under age girls in which were 14 year olds with a 45yr old woman, he let them in knowing they did not have ID. The woman was extremely rude to the bar person. Which the bar person would not serve her 4 alcoholic drinks as he knew that the bouncer had let the under age girls in who, had no ID after 9pm. This woman was extremely aggressive to this member of staff and the things she said was disgusting. After he would not serve the drinks so she could give them to the under age children. The manager decided to serve her two alcohol frozen margaritas. The manager managed to situation really badly, and instead of throwing them out, as the bouncer made a poor decision letting them in. We had to sit there for 45 minutes listening to the staff arguing with them. Eventually they left and ran away after the bar person was assaulted by the 45yr old woman. We felt so sorry for the bar staff who seemed not to be supported properly by the manager. This would have never happened if they would have just followed processes and not let them in in the first place. So this left a weird and uncomfortable atmosphere. The when asking the bar person on shift, she had no idea what we were talking about, as nothing had started at 10:15pm. We moved into the back of the pub and the DJ did not set up until around 10:30pm. The DJ was someone called Dizzy!!!! We were excited to hear all the classic / cheesy 00’s songs….. however we were utterly let down. First of all he started with a 2021 song, then went into a heavy R&B set list which was not the 00’s. This was interrupted all through the night by a man badly beat boxing on the microphone interrupting loads of tracks throughout, which was extremely annoying. This was accompanied by DJ Dizzies atrocious mixing of songs, cutting songs off 5 seconds into them, and the awful splicing of tracks throughout the night. He was totally rubbish and murdered the songs he was playing. The nights was falsely advertised as “ Get in loser, we're going Ninth Life! Get ready to hear all your fav 00's anthems, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Avril Lavigne, Nelly, Rihanna, and many more. We'll have everything from high-energy bangers and cheesy classics, to emotional ballads that will make you sing your heart out. This isn't just any pop night - get your best low-rise jeans on and join us for a night of pure pop bliss at So Fetch!” This night played no such songs, no cheese, no pop, hardly any 00’s at all. Random 80 songs thrown in with a lot of Reggae, R&B, Zumba songs and Spanish songs….. it was all very oddly put together. We normally come in for drinks to support the pub, but this night really wasted our Saturday night after a hard week working. We probably won’t come back to events at the pub. The night was just an awful one and we probably won’t come back if DJ Dizzy is playing.

Funky hipsters pub that has a massive outdoors section which is very popular with young trendy good looking types . The place is massive with rooms here and there all decorated to the hipster vibe , graffiti, fake grass on the walls , strange objects scattered everywhere oversized lampshades etc etc . Decent selection of beers and not that bad prices . I can imagine this place being really busy on weekends as the have djs playing 80s and 90s hip hop tables and chairs everywhere so not a problem with seating small dancefloor for people to let loose but I'm sure people just dance in the garden if they want to . Fish and chips with a twist was good . all the food has got a jerky flavour runny through it . I particularly liked the old boy playing on the pacman sit down arcade machine . He said he hadn't gone on one since the 80s . Hasn't lost the skills though . The only thing I didn't like was the service at the bar . It was quite busy but the 2 bar staff hadn't grasped the concept of who arrived at the bar first so they just served who they wanted in a pot luck kinda way .
