Oi spaghetti + tiramisù

Hilarious place, super intimate, not cheap but you're paying for the experience. We were chatting to the other two tables and met the guy who did the 'Flash Ah Ahhhhh' jingle which I'll never forget. Then we had a cig outside and met the over 63s world table football champion.
I'll be coming again next week hoping to shake hands with an underwater basket weaver.

super intimate place! They only have 3 tables inside and they cook you in front of you! The concept is super cool, and the place is cozy. Perfect for a date or catch up with a friend! The tiramisu is so so goood! However, I was expecting a bit more from the pasta, but is good still!

Have been here twice now, and will definitely visit again in future. Francesco is an incredible host, and only having three tables makes for a very intimate experience, a real home-cooking away from home experience

Francesco is an artist! Such a lovely experience - small and special. We were so well looked after, every dish was top notch (bacon & kale spaghetti especially). And a tiramisu to rival the best you've ever had!!

Nestled in the heart of Peckham lies a true hidden gem: Oi Spaghetti. Despite my initial skepticism—after all, every eatery claims to be the “best”—I was about to embark on a dining experience that would prove those words true.

The approach to Oi Spaghetti is charming, with the cabin-like exterior warmly lit and inviting. The ambiance immediately sets the stage for an intimate and memorable meal.

Upon entering, we were greeted by Francesco, the host and chef, who shared an intriguing detail: he cooks live on air, with viewers watching as he prepares and serves each dish. This added a unique and personal touch to the evening, transforming it into more than just a meal.

With seating limited to just three or four tables inside, the setting was wonderfully intimate. We chose to sit indoors, allowing us to watch Francesco effortlessly orchestrate the kitchen and engage with both the diners and his online audience. Despite the potential for pressure, Francesco’s grace and ease were evident, creating a seamless and engaging experience for everyone present.

And then, the food. Oh, the food! From the very first bite, it was clear that this was no ordinary dining experience. The spaghetti was cooked to absolute perfection—undoubtedly the best I’ve ever had. Over the course of three courses, including an array of starters, two main pasta dishes, and a sublime tiramisu, each dish surpassed the last, showcasing Francesco’s exceptional culinary skills.

This wasn’t just a dinner; it was an experience that underscored how the simplest pleasures often make for the most memorable evenings. I left Oi Spaghetti with a full heart and a newfound appreciation for the art of dining.

We've visited twice and had a wonderful experience both times. Francesco is a brilliant host and an even better chef - every dish we've had there is cooked with such love and care. It's a great example of doing things with simplicity, precision and warmth - and he serves fantastic natural wine to go alongside it.

The atmosphere he's built is magnificent, and we'll be back as soon as we can be - we'd highly recommend you do!
