its our first trip in london/UK and found this place near our hotel. even at first look at the place that you can expect a very cozy, family friendly restaurant. we were greeted with smile and felt very welcomed as if you're visiting a family's house. their food is really good and reasonably priced. we wish their business to prosper and will definitely visit this place again to our future trip. thank you so much! --- mac and family

I was fortunate enough to have dinner with my family two nights in a row.The atmosphere is great, the staff are polite and well prepared, the food is spectacular and the restaurant owner is super friendly and welcoming!I recommend the good experience to everyone!

Wir wollten etwas in der Nähe des Hotels ausprobieren nach einem langen Tag in der City. Von außen sieht es bereits nicht wirklich wie ein Italiener aus aber wir wollten dem dennoch eine Chance geben. Wenn das Essen und der Wein gut ist stört uns das Ambiente weniger, kennt man ja auch oft von südliche Ländern.Ich komme aus Berlin und dort hat beinah jeder Italiener besseres Essen und selbst dieses ist nichts im Vergleich zu Italien. Brot gehört dort zu jedem Apetizer dazu und wird nicht mit 3,50£ extra berechnet.Der Wein war ok aber nichts besonderes für 30£ . Die Lasagne war für 15£ zu klein und nur ok.Die Bedienung war nett und wir hätten auch mehr Sterne vergeben, jedoch bezahlten wir 90£ für alles und im Hotel merkte ich das uns Spagetti Bolognese für 14.50£ Extra berechnet wurde die wir nicht orderten. Ich ging zurück, man war verwundert obwohl das Restaurant beinah leer war als wir bestellten. Kein Sorry wirklich und gab mir sogar nur 14£ zurück, daher unser schlechtes Gesamtrating denn alles in allem…. Nie wieder.

We had the most amazing experience at Paolo's Italian at the start of January. I was working on a job in the local area and the team wanted to have a crew dinner to celebrate the final shoot day.After seeing fab reviews online, I decided to phone the restaurant to see if they could seat our large group for the following day. I spoke to Paolo directly and he was so accommodating, especially as it was a last minute request to feed 20 of us!There was no restriction of what we could pre-order from the menu and on arrival, the food, service and atmosphere was incredible. Considering the variety of starters and mains we requested, there was such little wait time and everything came out piping hot and full of flavour. I had the Spaghetti Al Gamberoni for my main course and it was delicious!!!The ambiance was also lovely and the staff were so attentive and great to chat to. So pleased that we found this gem of a place - we will definitely return again for a crew meal!Thanks so much again to Paolo and all the staff for welcoming our group. I couldn't recommend this place more!

We will definitely return to this wonderful restaurant. The waiter and the owner have been very pleasant and everything we have ordered was delicious. A very calm environment. I recommend the meat lasagna.
Very nice cosy small place, nice portions and definitely good food. The pepper steak(little expensive )was so so nice and the pasta as an appetizer was pretty nice as well. If you are at the area it is worth a try.

Went recently for a meal with a friend thinking why not cute little restaurant close to home.We had 2 pizzas and a salad.Salad was not fresh and pizzas not made on premises but bought, which is very unusual for Italian restaurant. Each was £15 so well overpriced for what it was. Will definitely not return to eat.

Had a meal here last week with 5 colleagues. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good abeit a little on the small side. Fried scampi (8 pieces for 14.50), The only minus for me was the bread, coming from someone who spends a lot of time in Italy and LOVES bread from all over the world, I was expecting a bit more than a tesco baguette as a side :-( It states freshly baked but it wasn't, maybe you ran out of bread but I was disappointed. I think price v quality was not on par with what I was expecting. Glad we ordered starters as the main was not so filling. Best part was the crunchie cheesecake.
