I've been to Peggy Porschen Chelsea loads of times and I've always had a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The afternoon tea is filling and great value for money; I'm vegan and I love that they put as much effort into the vegan afternoon tea as the regular one!Dietary restrictions: Vegan

After reading many comments, good and bad, I honestly wanted to go anyway because I always saw it on Instagram and I was very curious. I went alone and with the intention of buying something to take away because I didn't have a reservation and the man who welcomed me She told me I could eat there, I loved that ? the girl who took my order was also very friendly and I honestly felt very comfortable. As for the food, I only ordered a cupcake and a hot chocolate with pistachio or something like that, I really liked it even though I'm not someone who eats a lot of desserts, the cupcake was delicious but very sweet for me. The decoration is beautiful, if I return to London I would return to have afternoon tea but with someone ?

This morning tea was so amazing! You get so many different options for food and the ambience of the restaurant is to die for. Our serve was AK and she gave us the best experience we absolutely loved this tea and would recommend this to anybody when they’re in London!!

The atmosphere is great, it's not a f/p place, it's a bit overrated.

Absolutely my favorite place in London! The aesthetics and quality of the products is unparalleled. The lovely venue. The prices are quite high, but they are justifiable compared to the quality of the raw materials used. You can't help but love it!

Had such a blast at that Instagram-worthy café! Their afternoon tea is just so posh, and the vibe is fantastic! The staff, especially Melissa, were super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back, and this time, I'm bringing my Mum along for afternoon-tea-date!

We were highly recommended by my friends, Peggy Porschen Chelsea was as an exceptional experience to be enjoyed. Lovely decor & great atmosphere, we were welcomed with smiles by the managers & staff. We had cocktails & brunch that was exceedingly delightful, that led us to order the lovely cupcakes However couldn't finish all, seems our eyes had got bigger. However it was exceptional service from the courteous staff who were very busy occupied as the restaurant was buzzing, great atmosphere. Will certainly recommend others, Looking forward to visit again with my friends.

I don't really like giving reviews but I think this one deserves it and I could say that our experience at Peggy Porschen Chelsea was amazing!!!My friend had the afternoon tea (she's here for a short holiday and wanted to try the lovely afternoon tea from Peggy) and I ordered the french toast and of course the cupcake for take away (salted caramel for the win)! From the food, to ambience and the service thank you so much for making our experience memorable. To Ms. Laisa and the lovely team, a Big Thank You all ❤❤❤❤

I felt compelled to write this review after the visit to PP Chelsea left us extremely upset and ruined our special day. We were treated appallingly by the assistant manager whose rudeness I can not even begin to describe.I have made a booking about 2 weeks in advance asking for a table where we could accommodate our pram. It was our wedding anniversary and having visited PP Chelsea many times before we thought it would be a nice relaxing lunch at a local place (which we have been supporting for many years). Having a small baby means we have to travel with a carrycot which requires extra space near the table. when we arrived the assistant manager did not seem to have read the requirements of our reservation and pointed us to one of the smallest tables which could barely accommodate the 2 of us, never mind a carrycot. Moreover, the table did not have a 'reserved' sign and did not look prepared at all. Other tables had a clear 'reserved' sign on them sort was obvious our reservation was not read. The table was surrounded by other visitors and it was physically impossible to have our carrycot there. My wife pointed out that the table was not suitable as there is no space for our baby and asked for another table. The assistant manager was visibly annoyed and said we had to wait until such table became free. My wife again stated that we should have had such table prepared for us and it was the whole point of making the reservation well in advance. The assistant manager practically barked at my wife saying if we did not like it we could leave. My wife said we were very unhappy - and would like to make a complaint to a manager - the assistant manager stated that she was the main person and we could send an email later and left us waiting! When my wife enquired again as to why our booking was not being fulfilled the assistant manager shouted at us 'wait! do you want a dirty table eh? then wait!' she was also gesticulating, pulling faces and the whole thing was degrading and humiliating for us - everyone was watching. My wife got visibly distressed and asked her to give us a table asap - she then walked away shouting 'I am done with you!'. We were utterly humiliated. My wife said it was our anniversary and having been treated like we did was very upsetting and unfair.By the time we were given a table we were distressed and my wife started having a hypertension episode. Having been up the night before with the baby we were exhausted and needed to sit down and order some food. After waiting for ages, the assistant manager sent one of the staff members who informed us with a smile that her manager asked us to leave and she won't be serving us food. We were absolutely astonished. Rather than offering us a sincere apology for the way we were treated as clients, about failing to reserve us a table as per our reservation request, the assistant manager saw fit to humiliate us with a baby on our special day! This individual displayed zero customer skills/politeness/manners and I can go on. We were expecting that a reputable establishment would treat us with respect and care, not in a humiliating and degrading manner! Having read some of the reviews it is clear that staff lack politeness and this does reflect very badly on the business. My wife and I remain very upset that our special day was ruined, we were humiliated and treated appallingly by the individual who lacked any idea as to what customer service is. We will not be returning for obvious reasons. Therefore - avoid and go somewhere where your custom is appreciated and you do not get humiliated by the staff whose job is to make you feel welcome.
