Very charming place with a good service! I would definitely go back for a fuller meal.

The food was delicious and we were served quickly, with a smile.Sitting in the basement isn't great but then it was a busy Sunday lunchtime.

Generous portions and lovely service. I’d recommended the course that includes everything pp. You will leave very full! Immediately was asked if there were any dietary restrictions and I informed them I was dairy free. They accommodated to every course we had by making sure I was served allergy friendly plates while my friend received the regular plates at the same time. Tasty food and cute atmosphere. Thank you

I have been coming for several years. Delicious, flavourful vegetarian food from a lovely family run business. Ever changing menu. One of Peckham's best spots.

We had the Mezze consisting of 6 plates, a mix of both vegan and vegetarian dishes. All were delicious and tasty. It did look small at first but once you got started it was more than enough for lunch for two.

Perspolis Restaurant and Shop offers Persian and Middle East cuisine and a diverse selection of speciality products. With rich flavours, warm ambience, and attentive service (especially the nice Persian lady who works there), it's a must-visit for Middle Eastern food enthusiasts.Just know that some Persian dishes are not 100% authentic as they've been subtly altered with additional ingredients or influences from other Middle Eastern cuisines, but still nice ??Defo try their hotpot - especially Gheymeh ?

We had a slightly weird experience at this restaurant last night, where the chef refused to make a vegan dish from the menu because it ‘wouldn’t be as good without the egg’. I have had this dish before and it was amazing - actually this is a large part of why we returned. I had the aubergine dish which was good. My partner had a fairly dry rice dish. It’s a shame because it was so good last time we came!Edited to add: it was strange because a) we had been served this dish before and b) it was available on the menu. I don't think we will be returning.

Fabulous Peckham institution serving various Middle Eastern inspired dishes: all of which are vegetarian (several dishes can be made vegan).Despite being a born and bred Peckhamite, I had never visited Persepolis until recently. I knew the shop had been there for quite some time, and the restaurant had gradually expanded over the years. It was always on my radar, but I’d never gotten around to visiting until now - better late than never I suppose! You enter via the shop entrance and wait to be seated. They’ve utilised the space well, and although it’s compact you don’t feel overcrowded. I loved the colourful decor, and although the seating is basic it’s very comfortable. The staff were lovely - very welcoming, and they kindly took the time to explain the menu to me. I decided to have the Falafel Flatbread, along with the Date & Cardamom Latte.Service was pretty quick, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. The flatbread was massive and packed with deliciousness! Combined with the accompanying chips and side salad it really was excellent value for money - but far too big for me to finish. Though the staff did offer to put any leftovers in a doggie bag for me to take home.I shall definitely return to try more of the menu.

Great food! We had the 30£ menu with desserts and drinks. Everything was very good, we're definitely going back!

Lovely friendly restaurant. I've been waiting to go to since seeing Sally cook at Latitude a couple of years ago. Food excellent, feasting menu great value.

Excellent restaurant. Well priced and the feasting menu is so much food and so good.Lovely staff - really made my birthday special. Only thing is you need to be ready to spend 2hrs here for the full feasting menu - but it is worth it.Also catered so well for those who are gluten free or have other allergies.
