I've been here probably three times in the last three months and I love it every time. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and lively and the service is fantastic. The Branzino el Sale, Mediterranean prawns and the arrabiata are my faves.

Giuliano and the team were very accommodating. We were short on time and they saw to us quickly and efficiently. The food, as always, was excellent.

I regret to say that my recent dining experience at San Carlo Cicchetti left much to be desired. Firstly, the portions were surprisingly small, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. Additionally, the desserts lacked flavor and quality, resembling supermarket fare rather than the culinary delights one would expect from a restaurant. To make matters worse, our pizza was marred by the presence of several small pieces of plastic, which I discovered while chewing. This not only detracted from the meal but also raised concerns about the overall hygiene and attention to detail in the kitchen.Overall, the combination of underwhelming portions, lackluster desserts, and the presence of foreign objects in our food made for a disappointing evening. It is my hope that these issues can be addressed to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future patrons.

Italian tapas small plates. The food was really tasty but very overpriced for the small portions you get, which cost the same for a normal full portion in other restaurants (if not more). Alcohol from the bar was extremely overpriced too. We ended up spending A LOT and our tummies were not even full. Delicious food but will not be coming back.

Staff were so welcoming and made us feel so special. Special shout out to Giuseppe who chatted with us and really made the experience even more special, he was lovely. Food was amazing and everything was explained so well and that plates were made for sharing, which we loved as we couldn’t actually decide between pizza and pasta!! So reasonably priced for an amazing experience. Could not recommend more! Ps, yes this place is stylish but the atmosphere is so relaxed so please don’t feel any pressure to be ‘fancy’. Definitely will come back Xxx

Very disappointed. Prices are to high for the quantity and the quality of dishes. If your restaurant is selling like tapas dishes you need to be more clear about it.Also to bring dishes at the same time. You have very nice atmosphere in the restaurant, but food portions and quality is descrace. You give a bad name for Italian food.No wonder there was no Italian people working there. It is a chain and everything about the profit.

The background music was horrible, very bad atmosphere, more like a disco bar than a restaurant. The service made you wait a long time and they could still charge you up to 12% of the bill as a 'service' - which in my case was €8 extra. The food is good but nothing out of this world. The portion of calamari is 4, and the lamb chops were very undercooked (knowing that grilled lamb is better with the fat well toasted). I ordered a 'homemade' tiramisu for dessert and it had almost no mascarpone, just a lot of coffee sponge cake. The only dish that I was really excited about were the gorgonzola gnocchi, which were delicious but came plated in a crunchy form that was not good.To drink I ordered a prosecco white wine and they served it to me in a glass of about 20ml and it cost me €11 ??? London is expensive but this is overkillIn short, if you are looking to eat at a real Italian restaurant, it is worth looking for another because for the price range of this restaurant chain, it is not enjoyable.

Chic place, high energy, offering smaller sharing plates as cicchetti. The plates are ordered and as they get ready brought to the table. The food is Italian; simple but very tasty! The staff is fast and friendly.

Absolutely disgusting staff! My mum & I popped in after seeing a show opposite the restaurant- it would have been around 9:45. We were told by the waiter (whose English was appalling), that we could not sit there, we had to move or we couldn’t be served. We accepted that we might not be served any food, and instead asked to see the drinks menu. We explained I was in too much pain to move seats, and he asked ‘Are you sure?’ The waiter went away, and came back with who I can only assume was a senior staff member, or manager around 5 minutes later. He looked at me and asked ‘Can I help you?’. We asked to see a menu, or a drinks menu because we understood from the waiter that we had to move seats. We explained that we couldn’t move, and were met with ‘We cannot serve you’, with no explanation. He walked away. (I am disabled, I suffer with a lot of pain, and I use a powered wheelchair. In this case, I had to leave the wheelchair in the car, and use crutches instead because the restaurant did not seem accessible from outside). We decided to go elsewhere and we got up from our seats, went to leave, and the waiter started to speak to my mum- she explained that I am in pain and cannot be expected to walk all the way to the other end of the restaurant just for a drink. He apologised.
