Tasty food, big menu so lots of choices, satay chicken and the Massaman lamb was 10/10. Efficient service and friendly

One star for mango sticky rice.Pai Tai was too sweet and dry.Fried seafood was okay but seemed not to be very fresh as I had stomachache a few hours after eating it.Fried Squid was okay but £10 for one Mojito was definitely over-priced.

Met a friend for dinner, I’m vegetarian and my friend eats halal so thought this would be ideal. Very few true vegetarian options as some dishes contain shrimp paste. Ordered veggie pho soup only to be told there was none left… it was 5.30pm on a Friday evening… Ordered a noodle dish that looked grim, tasted grimmer. Unable to eat even half of it. Poor service, my friend ordered a dish with chicken, received it with prawns so had to be sent back. We were so looking forward to Thai food but this was anything but, it was a combo of Indian curry and Thai food, it was a poor choice of menu and food. Ended up paying over £40 as refused to pay service charge, they didn’t even ask why or if we were happy or why we hadn’t finished food, they just didn’t care. Never going back.

A Thai Culinary Gem in the Heart of London!I recently discovered this Thai haven called Sawadika right in the bustling streets of London, and oh boy, it was a delightful experience! Walking into Sawadika was like being transported to a cozy alley in Bangkok, thanks to its authentic Thai decor and warm ambiance. Now, let's talk food - it was a taste bud explosion! The Thai Pineapple Fried Rice was the perfect blend of sweet and savory, while the Thai Green Papaya Salad had a kick that left me craving for more. The Tom Kha soup was a comforting blend of coconut milk richness, a perfect remedy for the London chill. But the star of the show? The Thai Chicken Claws! Soft, tender, and seasoned to perfection with Thai spices, they were an absolute delight. The Thai Stir-fried Water Spinach with Shrimp Paste had the perfect balance of salty and fresh. The Thai Baked Fish, Thai Teppanyaki Tamarind Prawns, and Thai Red Curry Cod were all exquisite, each dish was a journey through the vibrant flavors of Thailand. The ambiance was cozy with friendly service that added to the warm Thai hospitality vibe. If you're in London and have a craving for some authentic Thai flavors, Sawadika is the place to be. Each dish was a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Thailand, and I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu. Sawadika is a true taste of Thailand right here in London!

Okay, SO. The food tastes very strange. Sometimes it's salty, sometimes it's sweet, sometimes it's spicy, sometimes it's sour. It's very, very strange. The more you eat, the worse it tastes. I only recommend Thai milk tea and yellow curry with chicken thigh what I ordered. The rest I ordered taste strange. The satay chicken taste very salty and strange. It just doesn’t taste right. Tom yum also taste very very sour I just can’t take this style. Pineapple fried rice taste a sweet but also weird, there is raisins, nuts and other ingredients in there. I forgot what the other dish I ordered but it’s very spicy. Plus the amount were small and expensive. We also ordered Raw prawn. WELL they didn’t clean it properly!!! There is still digestive tract in it. Tastes kinda greasy but not really, it like the feeling when you ate too much favorite food that made you feel sick. That all we ordered. The atmosphere was good, and the quality was good the restaurant looks pretty except from the food we ordered. I don’t know if other meal taste nice but the meal I ordered was not great. One last thing, the waitress has a very bad attitude, we just want the bill and asked if you pay with cash will there be discounts, and they had a very impatient attitude and said no. They were very rude after we finished our meal. The meal doesn’t seem to taste great as how they look like.

The food was generally fine. Not the best Thai food we’ve had but fairly fine. The satay lacked salt but the fish cakes were tasty. The fish Penang was very good and the Tamarind Duck was well cooked and presented. So why only three stars. Well for two reasons. The bill included a service charge but, when paying by card, the machine suggests you leave a gratuity. Somewhat naughty I thought. Secondly I was a little surprised that the waiter didn’t move away when I had to enter my pin but looked over my shoulder. Not what I would expect and made me think of changing my pin.

Khao Pad Supparrod £18.95I literally burst into tears at this price and serving size, no bragging, there are pictures. Enough for three people to eat, diced pineapple and shrimp, cashew nuts, meat floss is just too much, I just look for rice inside the dish every bite is not in vain, full of material, into the store not to order really will regret!!!!Kor Moo Yang Thai Pork Neck £20.95served on the iron plate, the aroma of fat is very good, the meat is very tender, we recommend dipping it in the sauce, sweet and sour!Grilled Lamb Rack £28.95Sour and spicy flavored grilled lamb! It was piping hot and grilled to a very tender and solid consistency, several large pieces in total.

Worth trying restaurant, it was so delicious! I came here twice, it’s good for friends gathering or team lunch, very golden location. I love Thai milk tea and the fried rice here. Also highly recommend Pad Hoi Lai!✨I will definitely come back again!

We didn't have high expectations, but it definitely didn't hit any marks with us.The service was friendly, music was pop, which was bit weird for a Thai restaurant, and menu wasn't really inspiring so we proceeded with caution. We ordered salted egg yolk chicken wings (about £8.5 for 5 deep fried mid wing joints) and vegetable pho.It is hard to go wrong with deep fried frozen chicken wings, the portion for the pho was huge, but the broth was way too sweet. We ordered a Thai lemonade and it literally left a bitter taste in our mouths, as it seems they blended a whole lemon with skin and rind into it.

9 October 2023 - Dreadful experience of both service and food, no doubt made worse by the fact that I was dining out alone. The staff clearly didn't want to be there, but they wanted ME there even less. Since they paid no attention to me at all, I had to flag them down for every single thing that I needed. Unfortunately my starter and main course were delivered together. My corn cakes did not have the look, colour or taste of corn: they were tastelesly made of the same dense matter that makes up black holes – appallingly heavy, and for hours afterwards left my stomach feeling I would never, ever digest them. The sauce that came with the crab cakes was just a smear on the plate – I had to ask for a small dish of sauce. My Pad Thai featured five overcooked prawns (think damp cotton wool). To top it all, I went to the toilet before leaving and the toilet bowl was spattered with someone else’s diarrhoea. I am bewildered that anyone ever gives this place good reviews. Perhaps it's the staff.

Had the service been at the same level as the food, I would definitely have rated it 5 stars! What a pity to spoil a reputation because of simple, stupid service mistakes! First, very long wait (at least 20 min) before even taking our order, when the restaurant was far from full or busy. Second, despite my wife explicitly saying that she wanted one of the dishes served as her main, it was served first, even before our starter! Hoping that the other mains would arrive in reasonable time, we waited patiently, but they only showed up after another 20 or 25 minutes! Bottom line, my wife’s main was stone cold when my main was served… And to fop it all up, when paying, the waiter had the nerve ti ask us if we wished to leave an extra percentage for the service….
