“Finally got to make the roast (well not quite..). Despite missing out on the “real” roast the waiter walked us through how to essentially make most of the dish through the options on the menu, top off with complimentary Yorkshire and celebratory fizz for our friends engagement. I’ve genuinely never had better service (forgotten his name sadly, nice Hungarian chap), knowledgeable, personable & fun. Rib eye was ? - sure you pay for it, but boy was it worth the treat!”

“Second time eating here and hands down one of my favorite restaurants in London. The 250g sirloin was absolutely incredible, considering its the cheapest steak on the menu. Let’s not mention the steak tartare.. one of the best I’ve ever had. The GIANT chocolate cake and the extensive list of cocktails. Everything here was perfect. “Exquisite dinning at this treasure in little Venice. The interior decor is accentuated by the river bank streaming alongside the restaurant. This lovely ambiance is well-matched with the incredible food at the Summerhouse. The quality of their seafood is commendable. My friend and I had the pleasure of sharing their fresh oysters, seared scallops, and popcorn shrimp as starters, followed by the catch of the day. A memorable experience. It goes without saying that the team of waiters deserve much credit for their service. They were attentive to our needs, friendly, and offered excellent recommendations for food and drink. The prices were quite steep, but this is standard for most of London. If you’re in the mood for a treat, I suggest keeping Summerhouse on your fine dining list.”

“We saw this restaurant on our way to our hotel. Menu and ambiance looked good. Later googled it and saw good reviews so gave it a chance. Glad we did. Ordered mussels and tuna carpaccio for starters. All wonderfully sauced, nice portions and quality ingredients. For mains, we chose from the specials menu. Dressed crab was 6 or more ounces of fresh delicious crab in the body shell- no cracking at all! Served with mayo and lemon. It was hard to finish there was so much!! Hubby had monkfish with garlic sauce. It was hard to discern from lobster. All fabulously fresh fish with perfect cooking temps. Our waiter was exceptional. Attentive, knowledgeable and all around great! Highly recommend this restaurant that could be easily be misconstrued as a west end tourist trap.”
