Beautifully presented, the food is bursting with authentic southern Indian flavours, and the portions are incredibly generous. What more could you ask for!

Taste of Cochin is a cozy and friendly restaurant that serves authentic Kerala cuisine. The kottu paratta was excellent, with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves kottu paratta and other Kerala dishes.

A wonderful restaurant. I went there with my family, greeted with a smile, exceptional service, listens carefully to your needs since I had asked them to ensure none of the dishes were spicy for the kids. We all left with a big smile on our faces. If you’re looking for authentic North & South Indian cuisine, this place delivers ?? without the typical London prices.

Just got conned at "Taste of Cochin". So the high rating are either ignorant fools or dodgy reviews.Believe the lucky chef must be on some protection scheme. People must be looking for him for serving criminally horrible food. The guy serving us seemed naive or just plain high.ProsPortion size is good.Staff is polite (ripped off with a smile)Cons1. We ordered pickles which cost £3.50. In most Indian restaurant, this is free. This is rip off2. Service was incredible slow. Takeaways given priority. Just 3 tables were occupied. 20 minutes after seating, our first order was taken. Took another 15 minutes for poppadoms to arrive. Mains took 50 minutes.3. Main food was fish curry, okra curry, avial with appams. 2 small appams cost £4.50. Fish curry was watery and lacked flavours. Okra was just simply chewy and slimy. This food will easily win the worst Indian meal in London. I can't believe the reviews or the chef has changed or they just don't care.We were just annoyed but laughing most of the time with the situation we found ourselves in.Good laugh for just £53 for two.And I am still waiting for my beer that never arrived.Parking: Mon to fri, after 6.30pm, free off street parking on the the side streets before and after the restaurant.

Awesome food. Tasted like home. Especially their appam and chicken varutharachathu is rich in Kerala's authentic tastes. I even took it as parcel. A must try item is the neymeen fry. Ummmmmwah!!!! It's finger licking good.

We had the best South Indian food after coming to the UK. They make the food as per your taste ( spice level). I would definitely recommend you all to try.
