The Taste of things to come!Forget Celebrity Chef, Nigella and Jamie just come dine with me to Taste restaurant (part of Merton College's catering and hospitality department) where friends and I wined and dined on Wednesday 9th March!Ours was an international menu devised and cooked by senior students with waiting and front of house mostly attended to by their level 2 colleague all supervised by experienced qualified tutors and served with a garnish of confidence, competence and courtesy.No shouting sweating and definitely no swearing. So eat your heart out Gordon Ramsay whilst the rest of us go Ready Steady and Book The Taste for fine dining at it's best.Philomena Nolan.
