Quirky and weird in the best way. We stopped here nightly on our way back to our hotel. Owner/Bartender is off-putting at first but warms up eventually. If we lived in London, this place would be our regular haunt. Great mix of locals and people from all over the world. The man roasts his own espresso beans, so the bar smells wonderful! Absolutely recommend.

One of the most impressive places I've been in London! Excellent coffee, roasted in store and real authentic Baklava and lokum. The menu also has a selection of interesting beers and very good cocktails. This place has character, it is very unique and is worth visiting just to see it's interior. The owner is such a great guy, very friendly and approachable. I've found a place to buy my coffee beans and grab a coffee/drink with a friend!

If you’re a lover of Expresso Martinis, there is truly no better place.Further, a very relaxed atmosphere — even on a Friday night. You can easily hear one another talk. Highly recommend.

A very good option for an expresso martini or other drinks after having some Viet food in the area. The music selection is excellent, relaxing, this creates a particular atmosphere. Remarkable decoration.

You must stop in for a cocktail! The BEST espresso martinis! Old fashioned was really good too!Ambiance is amazing - you feel like you’re in an antique shop. All the while you smell fresh coffee beans roasting. The owner was very personable and welcoming.I highly recommend visiting this quaint little bar and enjoying a wonderful cocktail.

Scammers & Liars... Missed out cocktail ingredients to save money.I used to go here all the time a good few years ago, over priced drinks but a good place to go late at night when you're in a big group. However, this Saturday me and 9 mates went in and ordered 10 cocktails (9 esspresso martinis and one white Russian), he took my £150 and ushered us to go out back whilst he made them. They came out thick and fast, which seemed odd, they looked pretty good, but upon tasting them, we were all like "these are disgusting". I've spent the last 5 Christmas' with my dad perfecting the espresso martini and despite having a good few drinks in me, I knew they weren't right.I concluded that there was no kahlua in there, so went to the guy to complain, without hesitation he sent his assistant out back to put a whole shot of Kahlua in each drink. We tried them again, at this point I'm sobering up to the fact that this guy is ripping us off, I taste the drink again and then taste one without the Kahlua in and realise, there's no vodka either. So I go back to the front, complain again and request he makes a fresh one Infront of me and then we taste them side by side.He makes one, it tastes OK, still very thin, (he adds Amereto which isn't too my taste but whatever), I then agree that this is an ok espresso martini and that it's nothing like what he served us. I request him to come taste it alongside what we got served, he refuses. I request a refund, he refuses. He makes out that he's going to make us another round, but the drinks never materialise. So yeah, either this guy tried to scam us, or he's the worst cocktail mixer I've ever met, or both.

This place is so interesting and unique! I had the best espresso in London made from the owner using an original espresso machine dated approx in the 1900! everything in there is unique and with character but what is even more interesting is the people and the vibe, this place is warm and with heart.

Amazing place, which is like a Tardis, so much more than just a small bar! Take the time to chat with Rico, who is a real friendly fella! ?

I used to hang out here for hours. The upstairs is decorated like a Victorian brothel. I miss it so much.
