Lovely little traditional English pub with a fair selection of beers and most importantly, free live music on most nights. They don't serve food but you are more then welcome to bring in your own take aways, as long as you buy a drink or 2.One-word of warning though. Please buy a drink, even if its just a soft drink. It is, after all, a business. You might be surprused by how many self entitled people that go there for free then refuse to buy anything but have no problem taking up a table while listeningbto the free music and paying punters have to stand.

What a relief to find somewhere so dedicated to live music. The Cavern is a fantastic bar with friendly staff, good beers, and so much live music. Thank you for existing is all I can say. I’m looking forward to my next visit already. (Haven’t tried the food yet so can’t comment!!)

This place is amazing. It's the quickest bar in the west, I bought a couple of rounds last night, I didn't wait more 10 seconds to be served, and that in a very busy bar . Friendly, lovely atmosphere, nice crowd, and the music is always of a high quality. I can't recommend it enough. Brilliant venue, brilliant staff. Don't listen to all the negative reviews, you aren't charged entry, so expect to pay for drinks. This is how it's always been, it's a pub, not a park. It isn't free. I had a chat with the landlord and he seemed like a lovely guy, but he isn't a charity. We need places like this, we've lost so many of them.

Watched an amazing band on a random Thursday night in Raynes Park. The staff were super friendly, the music was epic (thank you the @GREEDY_KARL band) and I enjoyed a few impromptu beers. Lekker atmosphere full of non-mainstream beautiful people. Rock On!!

This is one of the best music venues in the South of England, if not the whole country. I've been here many times, as an artist as well as a customer. I've enjoyed many superb performances by world class musicians. Depending on the band, sometimes there's a reasonable entry charge, but mostly it's free to get in. Especially on those occasions, it's essential and perfectly reasonable to buy several drinks, because that's the only way that this business can keep operating, Let's support The Cavern, because places like this are sadly now few and far between, and we'll miss them when they're gone.
