I popped in yesterday evening for a quick cocktail. I was taken care of as soon as I stepped through the door until the moment I walked out. Shannon was absolutely brilliant! She was very kind, knowledgeable, talkative and helped by recommending her favourite cocktail, which is now my favourite. They give you little nibbles of olives and Parmesan cheese which was a great touch.I was hoping for it to have been a little more social however I ended up just really enjoying the ambiance and getting away from the loud crowds. I will definitely be back, thank you for such a short, sweet and most lovely experience :)

This is the oldest hotel bar in London and a very stylish location for groups or couples. With food and drinks available to order and featuring iconic images on the walls. I visited for a special launch party with live music and guest appearances.

What a silly place! Change in staff through the evening meant change in attitude and unbelievable stupidity! If you can’t produce a cup of tea in a hotel, there’s no help for you!! There were Middle Eastern ladies at a table next to us and tea didn’t seemto be a problem for them .. when we decided this was stupid and had enough, even with the manager there, we asked for the bill, it had more cocktails on it than we had ordered. Shame. I liked this bar once! I’d never go back, horrible experience that got very uncomfortable fast!

After years of booking meetings for my boss here, I finally crossed the pond and made a reservation for myself. For me, this tea service is off the beaten path. It's not what one would immediately think of for high tea unless they knew about it. We had the champagne tea service for 3 adults and a children's tea service. The service for the littles is absolutely adorable. It comes with a story of Albee thr monkey and they have souvenirs. We purchased the monkey because it was absolutely adorable. Each reservation allows for 1.5 hrs of unlimited sandwiches, scones, tea, and sweets. We partook in an additional serving of sandwiches. The standouts were the chicken salad, cucumber, and smoked salmon sandwiches. I enjoyed the scones tremendously- esp with lots of clotted cream. I enjoyed a spicy chai as well. This was the highlight of my trip to London. I will absolutely some back!
