Went in for the old firm match and was greeted by a young man named John with bright white teeth. Think he runs the pub (that’s what he told me) and it was a day to remember after speaking with wired to the moon - Scott.Considering having my wedding here.Proper place, N1.Chelsea Dan.

Don’t come here to play pool - I was there with a few friends hoping to play doubles and we waited around an hour + to find out it’s winner stays on basically you’re going to be playing against the locals because they just stay on

I went for play snooks after a long day at work.The barmaid excuse herself and said that unfortunately they will showing the match so I opt for a beer instead and in the moment I wanted to go out to smoke a cigarette she wouldn’t let me go out with a glass which I found ridiculous cause that will be a match showing and I don’t believe at all not a single customer will take a beer outside but that is not the reason why I leave one star I asked for a cup which she gave me 2 I didn’t know if was on purpose or not she hasn’t said anything and so my beer spilled on me than she said I gave you 2 for double up well thank you very much you wont see me again

Terrible decor, uncomfortable seating, extortionate prices, not a good selection of booze. Better off at any of the other pubs on Essex Road towards Islington Green.Unless you're a regular, you should probably avoid.
