A regular pub I visit, good service and nice layout. Can get very busy and due to wood everywhere can be very noisy (you kind of wish old wooden pubs could hang discreet noise baffles to deaden the echo). There is an upstairs when it's busy, but sometimes they don't open it which is annoying. Lovely little pub though and my favourite in the area.

We booked the Wildwood Room (upstairs, minimum spend) for a drinks party to mark the release day of our short film. It was a huge success and we couldn't be happier with how everything went! Hugo and the team were so kind and generous from the start, helping to get everything booked and prepared in advance, setting up for us on the day, and being very friendly and welcoming throughout.We wanted to put a slideshow up on the TV and to play our own music during the event - both were made possible without any problem.The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced, especially for such a smart and central location in London.Overall it was an absolutely fantastic experience, and we are so grateful to the whole team there! As a group of young independent filmmakers on a tight budget, it was a huge blessing to be able to host an event like this in an affordable way, to celebrate the release of our film and catch up with lots of our friends. It was a really special day and will definitely be remembered for years to come! Thank you!!

Found this place while going for a walk during my lunch hour. Walked past it but went back and decided to go in. I'm so glad I did. The atmosphere was lovely and the bar staff were so lovely and friendly. I've been twice and only had glasses of wine and crisp, so the next time I go, i will be eating there.

Seems like quite a nice pub, but I'd gone out of my way to check this place out after seeing it mentioned in several online articles (even recent articles) as having a particularly great cider selection.Apparently they "got rid of the ciders" so the one star review is for being a formerly good cider bar and now not that. at all. About the same selection as any other pub, which is to say not one offering of anything interesting or quality. Just sweet stuff.Cool looking place though and staff seemed nice.
