In my opinion, a complete disaster. I've been to a lot of hostels for little money... but I've never experienced anything like that, zero security, the lockers (cages) have all been broken into and can no longer be locked. It's dirty. It stinks. It's noisy. The location is in a very city-friendly but criminal area, and unfortunately the clientele is accordingly. Please be careful before you book and be aware of what you are getting yourself into. The pictures on the booking pages are not true and are out of date. Unbearable.Rooms: Very bad.Safety: Not given at all.Walkability: Is okay

The only problem is a mix race girl who’s a bartender, she’s very rude and has zero customer service, here’s what happened my card for the room wasn’t working so I went down stairs to have it changed to a working card, I was very polite on my approach to her. And kindly requested to have my card changed and explained it wasn’t working, after she was done she passed it over to me and said something underneath her mouth saying I can’t say thank you. But I was on a call, anyways I just ignored and moved on thinking she probably having one of them days. Anyways I was staying for 4days and on my check out date, I went downstairs to check out. Cuz my bus was leaving till 4 so had enough time to lay around I just wanted to keep my bag downstairs in a secure room where I know items won’t go missing. On me getting down it was the same ” mixed race” bartender on the bar, politely I said can I have two tickets to tag my luggages, so I can have dem in the storage till around 4 or 3ish when I’m leaving, she hands over the first ticket and then she said in a very *rude matter* why can’t u say thank you, my response to her was I didn’t ask u in any rude way and u demanding a thank isn’t gonna get u one. And then she said I can’t get u kicked out of this hostel *(abuse of power telling me •i’m gonna kick me out when I haven’t insulted or made u or anyone else feel unsafe. To make the matter not turn into an argument I kindly went to sit on the chair beside the bar. And waited for another staff to coming in. I didn’t tell the staff what happened, I just asked for tag and the staff said we can’t give tags so I said okay and went to sit. Before finding another solution. On a normal day I will just move on but it really hurt me for being treated in such a manner. I don’t know what further steps to take to make this kind of situation to not keep happening again. This is an establishment and a well run hostel with almost all the staff and cleaners and even to the chef. All seem like a nice people. But further action needs to be taken against her as she’s putting up a bad reputation to the business, and as a former bartender/receptionist myself I know how important good customer service is to business.

The Green Man, next door to Euston Underground station. A great funny place, wonderful staff and great service. All good people in the pub. A fine place for everyone, keep smiling.

Nice folk running the place. We didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms, The beer was good, the food average to expensive for what you get, as no chips with a burger for £10:50, and when compared to the great restaurants just a little further along is not good. But great for a beer and meet up with

I did my research before booking and it was worth it . This place is super cool. It is well connected with the londonn underground aswell! The bar is 24/7 for the people staying here. The food, tap beer and cider are great. The room are okay as I lived the hostel dorm. Safety is good but you still have to take care of your things.People and staff are friendly. Perfect for my first time visiting London.

BED BUGS HERE.First impressions upon walking up the tiny staircase is the smell of urine. Rooms are fine but the crowd are all old men, the showers on the first floor seem to be new and have great pressure, but everything else is dirty, it’s hard to see the positives. The road itself is horrific, wasn’t sure which country I’m in anymore.Noteworthy details: Bed bugs

Horrible stay. Staff was incredibly hostile, and when u ask something politely, they stare at you like you offended them or what. Although couple of them were decent but most of them were quite moody. The luggage area is vile and pretty sure unsafe as well.

Spent a night in here and arrived late. Maybe 2am. Was up all night talking to William the Irish chap and an Indian guy about drones politics and all sorts. He's a good guy is William. He will know I use my middle name to post haha.Overall it's a good hostel and bar is reasonably priced with a nice selection of beer and cider. Rooms not bad and beds comfortable, though some "roomies" are sleeping in different beds to avoid late check out fees or to overstay.Although this happened to me once I told the man going his morning inspection he didn't cause me any hassle.Overall it's a good hostel and great pub. Breakfast food smelled delicious though I never got to try it.Will be back.
