This is a review based on the food. We paid just shy of £30 for fish & chips with goujons as start. This isnt an issue as we are aware of location etc. However, this may be the blandest meal ive ever had. Goujons which are "straight from the market" tasted like they were lifted off a stall 5 minutes before coming out on a plate. Not to mention these were £9 & the portion size was a joke. The fish & chips were the real disappointment, how can you get this wrong! 3 orders & only 1 arrives with a lemon to top it off. The atmosphere was great & i reckon a lovely place for drinks, bit pricing food that high & not delivering is poor. Really disappointed.

The food is good. But few good options.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff but very expensive, £5 for a single soft drink!

Slow service, small portions and a generally unfriendly atmosphere from the staff. Spitalfields is a lovely place, so I would suggest going to one of the other very nice pubs or street food vendors nearby.

The service was fine, the atmosphere was fine, the location is good. I just can't get past the fact that they charged £9.50 for a small plate of store bought hummus, Tyrells crisps and Jacob's cream crackers and called it 'From the Market'. It was so disappointing.

Didn't eat anything so can only go on the enjoyment of those around me, looked OK but not tried so cannot award 5*. Was a 4ish visit so I can imagine as the offices kick out the atmosphere will change, better or worse no idea but entirely pleasent when I was there.

Went with a friend on a Monday lunch time. We both ordered the haddock sandwich. It came with two enormous slices of brown bread, an excess of tartar sauce, a tiny lettuce leaf, and very small disappointing piece of haddock, about the size of a single fish finger. We both left large portion of the bread. We both had a soft drink and a cup of coffee and the bill came to nearly £40. I won't be eating there again.
