Very traditional pub in the heart of London !

Only drank there. Pleasant bar with good friendly staff and a great selection of beer on tap. Nice decor and a handy pub to escape the crowds in central London.

A typical London pub that is visited by locals and tourists alike. It offers the typical London vibe and a good selection of beers. The prices are moderately expensive, but cheaper than the ones of the region. The customer service was very polite and welcoming.Vegetarian options: Available.Dietary restrictions: Not displayed, so unsure.Parking: Very hard to find, I suggest using pu lic transportation.Kid-friendliness: NoWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Beer and cider range was very good however the staffs attitude was appalling. He spent all his time on his phone , and made us feel we were honoured to even be served. Never spoke to us but to take our order and didn't give us our total when we paid by card. Lovely pub get better staff

Totally disinterested bar staff, can’t wait to sit back down behind the bar and stare at their phones, no welcome, no warmth, they make the customer feel like a hindrance, I only wanted a drink I’m no bar fly I don’t want to strike up a conversation, It strikes me they think most of the customers are tourists so don’t need to bother, it’s part of your job to be welcoming, even if you fake it, at least look like your interested.

What a gem of a pub, fantastic selection of beers available, drank Bristols Good Chemistry Brewing Lamplighter, a beautifully crafted dark beer, like nectar. I didn't eat here so can't rate the food. For everyone who remembers how a good pub used to be and for those that don't spend an hour here.

Just in time for the Weekend. Defo try this pub in Charing X. Tucked away up a side alley. (Street.) This charming little watering hole is popular with locals & tourists alike. Good range of beers & wines, the traditional atmosphere is worth the experience alone.

It was a podcast featuring Andrew Ridgeley that led us to The Harp, after he mentioned that this was one of his favourite places to drink. It is a beautiful little watering hole, but on a busy Saturday night in December, we could not spot him here - Wham damn!

This was once a great no nonsense drinking pub with a wonderful Irish landlady running the show. I sought it out aftet many years on a visit to London and it has turned into another souless english pub due primariky to the sraff and bad beer..staff just chat to each other and other off duty staff who seem to have no where else to go. It is basically a Weatherspoons Light. Very sad to see and at 5.30 for a terrible pint the name 'Harp Bar' should be removed . It is nkt the Harp my generation knes.

A favourite and reliable pub for decades, good beer, sausages, friendly and competent staff. Not so when visited in August. Teenage children behind the bar of various ethnicities, only interested in their phones and laughing with one another. Not interested in the customers, no courtesy, not a pleasant atmosphere. Beer poor. Emailed Fuller's after our visit to ask what was going on, no response which I take as approval. Recommend the Porterhouse nearby, great pub service and beers, or just about anywhere else.

I recently frequented this class establishment after many years and rediscovered the amazing real ales and warm environment. Always packed to the rafters even on a Sunday afternoon, I savoured the taste of London Pride, arguably the best poured pint of this Fullers classic I have experienced in many years. Back on Sunday for part two! Oh and it's well worth noting that the real ales are very reasonably priced considering the central london location!

A tiny, proper drinking pub, right by Charing Cross cop shop. Literally just a few yards from St Martins in the Fields church, Trafalgar Square. It looked like 10 draft beers were on, and the two we had were fabulous. Well worth a visit. When we visit central London, the Harp has become something of a pilgrimage for many years now. Long may it continue!!!

It's a shame that me and my wife were met with racism on our first attempt at visiting a classic pub in London. There were two bartenders the night we went in around 6:00 p.m., a young white man and a young black man. I was served my first round by the white man with no problem but my second attempt at getting a drink from him he kept passing me over until another patron told him it was my turn. Both my wife and I tried to get drinks from the side where the young black man was serving people and were completely ignored for at least 5 to 10 minutes before just giving up. He served everyone else around me out of turn and then when it was clearly my turn next he started washing dishes and then walked away. He refused to serve my wife multiple times until she just came back and told me I should go try. I am a brown man who could be mistaken for either black, Hispanic or Middle Eastern. My wife is Asian. I don't know if these bartenders had something against Americans in general or if it was a racial issue to be honest. But since no one had heard us speak I don't know how they would know we were American. I really just feel sad for the young black man who clearly has some self disdain as A person of color and who would choose to project the same racism that he's probably felt in his life onto other people of color. A really unfortunate start to an otherwise great trip.

I had a nice drink after a concert at St Martin in the Fields. It was a friendly and welcoming pub. I foolishly left my coat behind when leaving on a train back to Bristol. I phoned the next day and the manager kindly packaged up and posted back my coat totally free of charge the next week. AMAZING SERVICE!!

Great pub in covent garden ??The pub has two floors, they offer a large variety of beers we had the Guinness (amazing) and the price are correct, the mood and atmosphere of the bar especially on match days is very nice.
