Bit if a pushy experience, we booked a table at the bar for drinks … but somehow kept being asked to order food and when we were ready! We explained we wanted drinks not food and were asked to order snacks !! Food was ok, less so because we didn’t want to order it.Pretty place though.

Very relaxed atmosphere. We had an option to book a table for 1 hour or a seat at the bar area for 30mins. We chose 1hour, the service was very quick and good. Shepherd's pie was delicious. Enjoyed the drinks as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access into the restaurant and seating as well

The place is very beautiful and the service very friendly. Quiet place to have tea or food.

Lovely meal, some issues with our table to begin with but once sat down we had amazing service from Anna Lopez - she went above an beyond and recommended dishes for us. Will certainly return.

Our visit was a real mixed experience. The food was fine but the service was a letdown. We dealt with dirty glasses, missing dishes that still ended up on our bill, and were initially told a drink on the menu wasn't available – only for it to suddenly appear after we challenged them. The low point came when a server bluntly told us our table was needed before we'd even thought about dessert. After spending £185, the rude treatment was just unacceptable.

Atmosphere is great, but having eaten lunch, I worried I had COVID, then I realized my Mexican style chicken just tasted of nothing.

Booked a table a couple of hours before, and we got the 2 course menu for £19.95. Duck starter and Shepards pie were particular highlights. The food and service are always great and always a lovely atmosphere in The Ivy no matter the location.

Service was very friendly and well paced, but they did not enquire about allergies and appeared vague when questioned about which items contained dairy. However we had an enjoyable meal here.

My mum and I decided to go to this place for Mother's Day after enjoying a show at the Victoria Theatre. We've been to other Ivy spots before, but this one didn't quite hit the mark for us.We showed up 20 minutes early for our 6:15 reservation, only to find out our table wasn't ready yet. No biggie, we thought we'd hang out at the bar for a bit. But as time passed, we noticed empty tables while we were still waiting without any clue of when we'd be seated. At the bar, it took forever to get the bartenders' attention to order drinks. And we couldn't help but notice how the hygiene wasn't up to par - they weren't washing their hands, touching their phones, and handling fruit without using any utensils. It was even weird seeing them taste drinks before giving them to customers. When we wanted to try a bottle of rosé, the bartender said he already tasted it for us, which was odd. And to top it off, they handed it over in a cooler that looked like it was used as a trash can, not exactly appetizing. Finally, when we did get seated around 6:45, nobody bothered to ask about allergies or dietary needs, which is usually pretty standard. Then, things just kept going downhill. Some menu items we were excited about were suddenly not available, so we had to scramble to pick something else. The bread and starter were decent, but the burger bun was burnt and ruined the whole meal. We mentioned it to the manager, who was nice enough to offer us a free dessert, but we were in a hurry and had to pass.Overall, it was a bit of a letdown. The manager's gesture bumped it up to a three-star experience from what would have been a one or two-star rating, but I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon.
