Nice place to relax with some tea and snacks. The teas were quite good, but the scones were really excellent, definitely the highlight of the meal. We also got some sandwiches, which were good but didn't stand out particularly. Overall quite recommended!

Just delicious. Loved every bite of the three-tier tea. The scones with cream and jam and the mini chocolate cake were especially wow. I sat and read and it was peaceful and lovely. Will definitely be back.

I recommend! Nice offer of afternoon tea. Decent cakes. Very nice service. However, we can complain about the cleanliness - our table was not wiped and we received a dirty cup. It was quickly replaced, but the fact remained in my mind.

I really wanted to be a quintessential tourist and try afternoon tea in London. After seeing prices between £60-80 for other tea shops I was pleasantly surprised this restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was a great value. We also appreciated the drip (filter) coffee since most places only offer espresso drinks. The panini and club sandwich were delicious, the tea cakes something I’ve never had before and the tea was light and just what we expected. I was reading a few others mention in their reviews the cakes were a bit dry and I agree with this statement - I just thought that was the English way of baking. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place that is warm, cozy and you leave feeling like you just received a warm hug.

Came by for some afternoon tea. We didn’t have to wait at the door for long, but once we got inside the service was terrible. The staff was rushing us while ordering. After receiving our food we got snobbed while asking for clarification. Paying happened with a lot of huffing from the waiter. The atmosphere of the space feels a bit weird, nothing too bad but the expected decorations of a tea salon were missing for us. The scones were good, but we would recommend going somewhere else since the service really ruined the experience.

Food is good and the environment is fantastic. The service is rude.

The only reason I keep coming back here is “the scone”. the service has always been terrible. I understand that working in this industry is tiring. But staff are vey very rude to customers even they ask nicely!

I am pleasantly surprised by the service of a gentleman named Adam. Full professional service.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 35 years. The cream tea is my favorite, but everything is delicious.

My latest discovery in London. An atmospheric place with delicious food, perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea. The service was very nice, especially Mrs. Paulina, who took care of us :) we will definitely come back!

I was here with my friends this morning when I took a bite from my friend's plate and the waitress created a fuss about us sharing from each others plates and made a face. The prices on the menu are not the same as the prices that we were charged. I ordered the berry on the go smoothie which was 50p cheaper on the menu and so were the iced tea and omelette that my friends ordered. Also the berry smoothie did not have any blueberries. We were very disappointed and will not go here again or recommend it to anyone. Bad experience.

This is a scone restaurant. The scones were very delicious. However, since we ordered one set of scones per person, it was dry and a bit boring. Thanks to this, I was able to drink all the tea. Personally, all the teas I drank in England were delicious, but I was so satisfied that I wondered if the teas in England were different. And I went to have afternoon tea, but I ended up not having it because they said afternoon tea starts after 12 o'clock. My friend, who speaks a little more English than me, said it was not possible because of alcohol, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with alcohol, and I wondered if it had anything to do with 12 o'clock, so I guess I misheard.... The server explained it to me, but I couldn't understand it, so I couldn't know the exact reason. . ㅠㅠ The Korean team at the table next to us came in around 11:30, but afternoon tea was served just before 12:00. I'm not sure about the standards haha....We arrived around 10:30 and waited for 5-10 minutes before going in. Instead of clearing one table and letting in a single customer, they worked by clearing several tables at once and letting in multiple customers. So you may have to wait quite a while. You can just sit down and do the calculations. All you have to do is make eye contact with the server in charge, or if that doesn't work, make eye contact with someone else and the server will come. I saw some foreigners paying the bill in person, and they did it without saying anything in particular.

There is always a long queue outside of this wonderful place and for a reason, a lot of reasons actually. The food is very wholesome and fresh, cooked to perfection and quickly. All the locals go there regularly including us. It’s slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Kensington high street and this is enough to deter the horde of tourists who prefer the glitzy and more expensive chains of diners on the high street but they miss a whole lot of good food, incredibly quaint ambiance, a service that makes you want to go back every day and prices that defining value for money do not do justice to the quality per pound one gets. It is a gem worth visiting over and over again just to try and find which item in the vast menu is not up to the dizzying heights of quality the Muffin Man clientele is accustomed to. Highly recommended, and don’t worry about the queue even if there are 5 groups waiting in front of you, one never waits too long, actually the waiting makes the food even better with the condiment of anticipation! Happy dining!Parking: If you have a resident permit it is quite easy to find a spot. Otherwise there is always paid parking at a short distance but not many.
