Tapas were very good. Highlight was the service for sure. We were between lunch and dinner and the only ones at the bar. We ordered a couple of drinks and the barman made us feel really welcome and really wanted us to have a good experience. Ended up staying most of the afternoon.

Lovely restaurant with great ambience and service. The food is okay but nothing exceptional.

Food was fantastic. They have a lo Ely selection of ports. It's a small and cosy so you might need to book during busy times. The waiter was switched on and and fast. Food came out in a timely fashion. Overall, fantastic experience and the place is saved should I ever return to the area

The Port House used to be one of my absolute favourite places in London. Last night an idiot waitress who behaved like she was on cocaine decided to call security on me and my friends because we didn’t vacate our table by the designated time. This is despite us knowing and chatting to the owner about 30 mins before. The waitress was extraordinary rude and behaved appallingly. If we had been drunk or rude, I would have understood, but instead she was obsessed with removing us because another “client” was waiting for the table. There were plenty of other table available. The security man (not from the venue) also touched me inappropriately. Will avoid this place like the plague from now on. Utterly shameful.

Pre theatre tapas. We chose a wide range, some our traditional staples and a couple of house specials. In a nutshell it was a really lovely experience, the serving team are knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic. Great advice on the food and the drink and are great.Ambience is great. Warm, convivial, not too loud. We were first floor on the right. Wine bottles lined walls and the bare brick are a nice aesthetic. The only complaint are the bench seats, the backs aren’t fixed and if you’re sat behind someone who wriggles a lot then you will be jiggled.Great wine and fortified wine selection. The Sherrie’s are great and the house Rioja is banging. The only below excellent thing for me was the food. Don’t get me wrong all, apart from the cauliflower, were perfectly good just not as good as everything else. That particular cauliflower dish was greasy and unseasoned but the wonderful staff took care of it for me.Really nice experience! If the service and ambience was the fast and the furious the food was Tokyo drift.
