I'm very disappointed with the service. After day at work at one of the Mayfair restaurant`s me and my partner decided to have a afternoon drink at the hotel. Unfortunately after getting the table at the bar/ launch area nobody approached us. We have been seating there for a while and when the member of the stuff approached us it was only for us to move our seats to different table, without any explanation. Very disappointed in my first experience at the hotel.

I have tried so many afternoon teas in London, and this one was up there with the best! From start to finish, we had an amazing experience. The service was outstanding, and the best part was that nothing felt rushed at all. In total we spent over 2.5 hours in the restaurant, chatting away and enjoying the live music. Highly recommend to anyone looking for afternoon tea in London.

This was our first visit today for afternoon tea at The Stage and planning the next one already. Very nice ambience, and exceptional service from Catalina from the start till the end. Great selection of tea and sandwiches. The cakes are just WOW!!! So far the best afternoon tea I have ever had, I highly recommend it!!!

This lounge bar is perfect for any meetups! The drinks are good and the staff are very attentive and kind! They also have live music sessions and the vibe is very amazing. The location is excellent!

Pleasant atmosphere and decent cocktails offset by the appallingly poor food.

Had afternoon tea for Christmas at the Londoner today. Chose it over the Ritz which was a mistake.Food was average - some of the sandwiches were nicer than others, the scones were amazing and the pastries too however, when it came to the pastries, we sat down at 3:30 and by the time we chose our pastries (around 5:30) there were barely any left so we found we had to chose from only a few options which was frustrating given other tables had clearly had the opportunity to already chose theirs with a ‘reserved’ sign being place around them.In terms of atmosphere, we got sat on a table right by a wall which meant we couldn’t even see half the room. The table was outside of the cordoned off area for ‘the stage’ which meant we were right in the middle of the walk way between the entrance, guests rooms and people moving around the hotel generally. On top of this, we were sat right in front of the stage which meant we could barely hear when the live entertainment was on. We asked to move to a different seat, as there we plenty empty when we sat down. We were told all tables had been specially requested and so we had to stay put. No one sat down for about 30 minutes in any of these tables and those that did appeared to only have a few cocktails and some olives. For what we were spending, we felt this was disappointing and there was no where we saw where we could request a specific table (?) we had this booked for months. The only thing we can say was great was the service. The lady who served us was lovely, very attentive and pleasant. All in all, would I go back? No.

I didn't care for the setting for afternoon tea. It's in the bar on the lobby. It's very busy, very loud, and not very comfortable seating. The amuse bouche was the best part of the tea, the rest I would describe as average. You got to get up and choose your desserts from a trolly. If you like to sit and relax and enjoy afternoon tea I would recommend a quieter spot. If you would like to have drinks pre-theater this would be a great spot to see, and be seen.

We had the most glorious experience at Afternoon Tea. Our server was patient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and over all made our experience one of the best in London. The amount of food for this experience is MORE than enough, definitely worth it! I lost the paper with our servers name, which makes me sad because he deserves a shout out!!! Thank you so much for everything, it was the best time and we will be back! This hotel was BEYOND gorgeous and was the perfect spot for a modern sexy afternoon tea. It's a must try!Cheers!Dietary restrictions: Accommodated Beef, Pork and Mango allergies! So grateful!

Overall, a wonderful afternoon tea experience! The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was good with an extensive tea range. The food is also refillable at no extra cost too as we requested extra sandwiches. We were also surprised with a lovely birthday treat as well which was very kind of the staff.Minor feedback for future improvement: at times, the sound system for the piano and singing was very loud and we had to raise our voices to have a conversation (not quite the afternoon tea ambience). Also, on the day we went (Saturday), I believe there was a conference on at the hotel so we had people regularly walking pass us in groups which was a bit distracting.Nevertheless, a lovely afternoon tea experience and I would recommend!

Took my mum here for her birthday! Was a wonderful experience. We have had many afternoon tea experiences and this was up there with the best. Relaxed atmosphere, excellent tasty fresh food, live entertainment and fantastic service. Was also really good value considering location and the 5 star experience. Nothing was too much trouble and when we asked for more scones they were happy to oblige. We couldn’t eat it all as they do give you an insane amount of food and so they packaged up what we didn’t eat to take home with us. The staff really were attentive friendly and helpful which all added to the experience. What we really liked was how you could really take your time and enjoy the experience. We never felt rushed or under pressure to leave. So many other London tea experiences are very much on an a clock and want you in and out asap but this was completely the opposite. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning ourselves.

When I booked I said I would like to share a set of afternoon tea with my friend as she is 9- month pregnant and couldnt eat much. The staff on phone was saying Ok but when we arrived the lady in the lobby said that’s “not true” cos the person picked up my call was the centralised staff which didn’t know the policy.I was so shocked as a customer I won’t be able to tell how the company was going to split the responsibilty. I was speechless when I was blamed back not booking directly via Opentable (???) Sorry don’t want to be Karen but I didn’t really enjoy the afternoon tea experience here

Lovely Afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwiches. Amazing scones and beautiful cakes. Staff were very attentive without being ‘in your face’. Only complaint was that the piano player was way to loud. Could really hold a conversation with each other. Not really what you’d expect of an afternoon tea

Delicious champagne cocktails, wonderfully complex flavors and not too sweet. Chic atmosphere. A little disappointed that I had to repeatedly flag down a server every time I needed assistance, they never came over to the table otherwise.
