Great place for a beer on a calmer day. The acoustics of the place make it hard to talk when it’s busy, but when it’s calm it’s an excellent hang out spot. The beers are good too and I really suggest the toffee stout for dark beer lovers.

Should have written this years ago.As a former employee here, I was treated with disrespect, like a lot of other people were who worked here, by higher ranking staff. You can probably tell as a customer the turnover is very high. Upon working there they attempted to lower my £12/hr wage to £9/hr without formal consent (a legal requirement), and removed me from the rota when I defended myself against a manager who swore at me and was consistently very abusive. This carried over to other staff upon my departure.I hope the people reading this know that customers or staff alike have a lesson to learn that in order for quality work to be done, quality standards have to be assured and employees should be content with the work and pay to say the least. It seems Wild Card have consistency maintained a poor treatment of staff from accounts of people I have spoken to since going back as a customer, and I hope people know that the money here invested by buying a pint is less helpful for the people who go above and beyond the get that pint in front of you. There is a lot hidden behind the scenes, do bare this in mind. Brewdog was one example of this…

It's a midsize old industrial unit with WildCard beers, cider, vino etc on tap and in the fridge, leaning charmingly, happily and confidently into the shabbier end of shabby chic, and it's GREAT! Sam behind the bar is a minor/major legend, top bloke and occasionally doubles as pizza chef when the planets align. Fab Weds night TTRPG group hangout and all sorts of other community stuffs to enjoy. Check their social meeja. Enjoy! X

Great selection of beers and the pizzas are really good too. Service always friendly and relaxed. Love the weekly tabletop gaming club WART.

It would really help if your beer menu stated the style of beer rather than just their names so you don’t have to ask what every one is!

Had a pint here Saturday afternoon. Shocked at the state of the 4 or so toilets. No paper in any. Very unclean. A person had thrown up all over the inside door and door handle of one of the toilet doors, gross. Wasn’t busy and staffed sufficiently and there is no reason to neglect this area. Families with young children. Needs addressing

A solid brewery in an awesome pocket of Walthamstow.

Bit basic, but they do have a proper bar. Today it was quiet inside but not outside. Fairly good range of beers. But if you want a cheap pint ? Steer clear.

Lovely place, lovely staff member running it on her own but managing very well. Would go again, if only to investigate the pizza!

Enjoy Wild Card beers and this has a great outdoor space in the summer. The indoor hall could be a bit nicer.
