Half an hour wait for food even though we were second in for lunch... Gyozas were falling apart. Fried chicken was too dry and hard and the staff was reluctant to exchange when we requested at first. Only 2 toilets and have to queue for a long

Happy Ramen!

We went here for a quick bite before going to Tate Modern. Ordered 3x ramen and a kids menu. For 3 adults and a 2YO. It’s plenty of food to eat. I wouldn’t recommend adding extras if you don’t have a big appetite. I find the restaurant is a bit small in a sense that staff do have to move around furniture to store the prams from people. But they are very friendly! There are hooks on the wall for coats which are handy

Just really normal taste Japanese food in working area…

Food is amazing. However there is a male server who works there who is incredibly rude and basically told me to stop talking while paying the bill. He also had a shouting argument with one of the Deliveroo drivers when we arrived which was very aggressive on his part. Extremely rude worker and should not work in hospitality.

Good experience at Tonkotsu. The Chilli Chicken ramen was very yummy, with a good variety of dishes, but the side dishes were a bit lacklustre. Staff were all lovely, and the restaurant was quiet. The food did take a little while to arrive, but it was lovely upon arrival. Some of the decor and cutlery could do with updating to give the restaurant a more mature feel, but that's just my preference! We did book using FirstTable therefore our bill was discounted; had we not had that discount, I would have felt the food was a bit overpriced for what it is.Vegetarian options: Good selection of clearly labelled veggie ramen and katsu curry.

I liked it. It's a great choice and good food. 4 stars is very good in my opinion considering the plethora of choices and stuff competition in London. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.

- edamame £4.25- eastside vegan dessert sando £6.50- chicken teriyaki hiyashi £12.50- kricket x tonkotsu pandhi pork ramen £15.95we started with some boiled edamame, which was nothing special but always a good starter. for mains, we got their special pandhi curry ramen (no longer available) and it was incredibly hearty and flavourful - the pork itself was definitely a highlight bc it was sooo tender. we also got the hiyashi ramen, which is more of a noodle salad bc there isn’t broth, and it was very light and refreshing - would be perfect for summer! their noodles are all handmade and you can definitely tell bc they retain the perfect chew. to end, we shared the ‘east side vegan’ ice cream sando. it was the perfect end to a meal and i’d highly recommend getting one of these bc the flavours are all so unique!

I went for lunch on a cold day to warm up with a good ramen. It was really great! Good choice both vegetarian and halal, plus the staff was very kind and smiling.

I personally really enjoyed my tonkotsu ramen, perfect for what I needed that day. So delicious and creamy it was super yummy! I like the fact the have different portion sizes which is perfect for how hungry you are. There was a filipina waitress who helped us and she was a dream after I was spoken to rudely by another employee.

Generous bowl fulls of ramen and tasty sides! All tasted fresh, both prawn and meat options were equally good with some amazing looking vegan choices which I would definitely return for. The option of kids chopsticks were helpful and the kids bento boxes were a hit with ours.Kid-friendliness: Kids options were fairly priced, included a drink and were of good quality and decent portions!
