“Delicious falafel in a super soft pitta. I loved the pickled cabbage and chilli and the tehina fillings as well. The only downside was the pitta was so soft and fluffy that it did start falling apart a bit halfway through eating. But it was all so delicious i didn't mind. The staff were also very friendly. Came on wednesday evening for dinner and it wasn't too busy, we got a table easily.”

“I just wanted to share a delightful experience I had at the Silka Urban Indian Restaurant. After a long day of traveling, we were keen to find some delicious Indian takeout to enjoy back at our hotel. We decided to stop by during their dinner service, and I must say, it was an excellent choice!
The restaurant itself was very inviting, and we felt welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The manager and wait staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Despite the bustling dinner service, we were treated warmly and received prompt attention.
We placed our takeout order, and to our pleasant surprise, the food was prepared quickly. There was no need to wait for a lull in the main dining room to receive good service, which was a huge relief. The food was packed appropriately and looked fantastic when we opened it up later.
While waiting for our order, the manager even stopped by to chat and kindly allowed me to use the WiFi. This small gesture made the wait all the more comfortable and enjoyable.
Overall, our experience at Silka Urban Indian Restaurant was top-notch, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Indian cuisine and excellent service.”

“What can I say except: Phenomenal. We had the 8 course tasting menu and a foot was not put wrong. Food absolutely exquisite. The highlights for me being the venison and the shiniest sauce you will ever see, the oyster which teleported me straight to holidays in Craster, and the most delicious sweet choux bun filled with crab. The dessert was delicate and punchy all at the same time. Service friendly, informed and attentive. Really was made to feel special. 10/10.”

“Great attentive staff at this location. Food is authentic tasting, piping hot fresh and well flavoured. The all in one container rice and chicken and rice and lamb are super good value for money well worth a stop for a box of each at only £7 for lamb one and £6 for the chicken one. Hard to beat in the local area best tasting and best value double thumbs up for this place.”
