Food, and vibe was immaculate, Vinny is a great host and the wine was amazing. croquettes and panna cotta were a standout for us?? Very intimate restaurant with only a few tables. Bring your missus here and she wont be

I photographed a wedding dinner here and it was a hit! The wedding couple and guests raved about the food and it was a great location to photograph. Really rate this venue for your own private event - something special, intimate and looks great in photos.

Absolutely charming ... imaginative but down to earth food, beautifully cooked. Very friendly staff and convivial atmosphere. We'll be back.

Visited Vins for dinner after being recommended from multiple people. Ordered our meals and a bottle of wine followed by a cheeseboard. Food came very promptly and were left waiting for our wine. Allowed our food to go cold to wait and pair it with the wine. After 25 minutes we questioned the waitress for the wine and she said she would check. Another 20 minutes passed and still no wine.We cancelled the cheeseboard and wine and settled the bill.Very disappointing after so many recommendations, hoping it was just an off night.

Recommended by a friend and have walked past before when it was very busy.We went on a slow Friday night (raining), the menu is a sharing style. The food was ok but over priced. The wine was tasty but sadly the experience didn’t match our expectations even from google reviews.

My husband and I had a delicious, relaxed dinner at Vins last night. Everything was excellent: our carafe of wine, the aubergine/labneh starter, crispy potatoes, and the perfectly-cooked monkfish tail. I'll be back with a bigger group so we can try more of the menu. Pricing was high but fair given the quality.

Great evening at Vins in Canonbury on Saturday evening with 3 friends. Owner looked after us really well, advising on the menu and wines. Excellent food, absolutely top notch. Will definitely be back.

Service staff was knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming! Lovely prawn and Avocado toast- speciality artisanal wines rounded out our meal so well. The ambience and community feel to the outdoor seating- just a perfect evening.

We went to Vin’s last night for a birthday meal and we were all so happy to be there. We tried everything on the menu. The food was beautifully cooked and the stand outs were the beef (thick, juicy, garlicky slab of a beast) the labneh with aubergine and the gnocci. They also have a very fragrant bathroom and yes, these things do matter.Really good service and chat from Vin and the lovely waitress.Thank you for having us.

What a delightful experience! We came in and were welcomed with warm service, and wonderful wine, food and music (don’t underestimate a good music system!). In a neighborhood full of vibrant and interesting restaurants and bars, this actually stands out:

Absolute hidden gem! Great food, great wine and amazing service. Every dish was exceptional - the lamb chops with leek and romesco was particularly delicious.
