Super tasty food, but the service we experienced during our last visit was shocking. We had booked a table, which we told the waitress who was greeting and seating customers. She nodded, then left us standing there... Grabbed the attention of another staff member who confirmed we had a table and walked off as well instead of taking us to it. Once we'd sat down it took 15 minutes to get a drinks order in and another 10 for the food order. We had to fight for the waitress's attention to take it. The food came quickly and tasted superb; however one member of our party whose order had been mixed up sat waiting without food for 30 minutes before theirs finally came. The staff also never came to ask 'How is everything, are you enjoying your meal?', but of course had the cheek to add a 12.5% service charge to the bill.

Enjoyed the buttermilk chicken tacos, nachos and a margarita last night. Wahaca Islington is a fun spot on a Friday night. The service and food were excellent.

Really great time at Islington Wahaca. Staff were super accommodating and helpful (super thanks Eric!!), the food was great, good portions, flavours and choice.Have been several times to this specific branch and will return again and again, great stuff :)
We were accommodated quickly at a busy time. Service was good although the dishes did not arrive in quite the sequence we had in mind. The food was good and reasonably priced for these difficult times.Parking: Park at Business Design Centre or use public transport.

very tasty food however I felt the mojito could have had more rum! Highly recommend the pork tacos and basically anything w the pink pickled onions. I spent £25 on a drink, half a starter, and the tacos. Great service too!
