It is expensive for a mediocre Panini and not very friendly service . Great location, though, on a nice day sitting by the

My experience here was less than positive but perhaps it was a one off and not representative of normal practice. I'm unable to comment on the food but this is rather about the staff. Having checked Google for a place to have breakfast we found this cafe and made our way on a dreary Sunday morning as it advertised opening at 9am. We bimbled past at about 8.45 just as two members of staff were opening up the doors. We carried on for a walk and got back around 9.15. Chairs and tables were out. Display board out and neon Cafe sign was illuminated and door open. Before we were able to step on board the staff member behind the counter just looked up and announced that they were 'not open yet'. A little confused I queried when they would and was told 'about 40 minutes'!No explanation/apology was offered so we simply left.I'm sure another day, another time the welcome may be different but who knows.

Very nice experience. The place is on a boat in Little Venice, with very beautiful environment. The foods are delicious and service is friendly.

The coffee and food were absolutely brilliant! The lady at the till kindly apologised for a 25-minute delay due to the kitchen being very busy. The omelette are amazing would definitely recommend; was definitely worth the wait!

Coffee ok, although enquired about some pitta bread, and was told it would be 30min wait,, slight bewilderment?as the place was almost empty, only people having coffees, probably all put off by the wait, also the cold drink fridge wasn't working,,,

would not recommend. Came in on a Wednesday after my friend had recommended this cafe and the waitress said that they could not serve me as the is not enough staff and the kitchen is closed. Why are they open with no staff? why are customers being seated and the kitchens are closed?. I was with my young children drinks unfortunately are not an option. Very unprofessional and ridiculous to be seated and then told the kitchen is closed.

Wanted to come in for breakfast from a friend's recommendation as i heard the food is amazing, but unfortunately it's closed Monday and Tuesday and had to go somewhere else to eat :( not sure why they are closed 2 days a week ?

This ought to be a winner, what with the location and all, and at first sight things are fairly promising because the boat itself is well turned out. How first impressions can deceive ! The surly 'no eye contact if I can help it' and 'I'd die rather than smile' single server seemed to resent out actually being there and amply communicated a total lack of interest with a weird sense of glee at telling us what is not available. Eventually, and at a very high price, we got a ploughman's platter made with the sort of baguette one buys as a multi-pack in the supermarket and are meant to bake at home. These were not cooked. The salad (small tin of tuna on some letticue) was eleven pounds. The positive reviews for this place are suspiciously 'cookie cutter' and without specific details - whilst the negative ones seem to have been written by people who have actually endured this experience.

Lovely English breakfast upon the barge.Great atmosphere. Highly recommended. Please please don't take this as a criticism, the staff were too busy to speak to as we left but to point out the menu never mentioned mushrooms on the breakfast dish, so I assumed the breakfast didn't include them. I am allergic and would have asked not to have had them on my plate as I requested no butter on my toast which you happily obliged.Unfortunately its like a nut allergy but isn't recognised in the allergen list but can be as fatal as nut allergy. My advice would be to advertise them on your menu for future guests.I hope to return one day as it didn't spoil our experience and your not the first place this has happened to me. Not complaining just highlighting my personal problem

At 4:30pm Friday o was refused service because the 2 ladies were closing there was about 6/8 people seating outside having drinks etc. as I worked for many years in restaurants and Coffe shops I understand when they’re closing they can refuse service but closing at five is not closing at 4:30pm we do not refuse to sell a piece of cake or an hot chocolate it’s now 16:50 and I’m seating outside Nero, I asked if they were closing they said yes but asked me what would I like, and they served me as they only close at 5 pm. That’s how a business is run.
